My first try at snakeskin and crossdraw, made it for my son, he will be the talk at elk camp this year lol.

bison brown with prairie rattler.

thanks i may be using this pattern now with my knives. pretty easy build and it would look really good with an antler hafted knife.

Very nice.  Nothing like creating something for a family member.  This, I am sure, will be passed down from generation to generation.

Chuck, That looks great. How did you go about inlaying the Rattlesnake?

i glued it to the outer piece of the sheath then glued and sewed on the border through everything, i think the next one i will run the border piece all the way around  the belt loops also.

SHINY - I LIKE IT (and I'm not usually big on snake).

My only "thing" was I mighta beefed up the back "skirt" panel, but sounds like you got that comin' up ;)

Thank you yea i may even go with a thicker piece on back in addition.
