There are probably some pictures associated with my old account, under the same name. I got locked out and never could get back in. Even the admins couldn't get me in. @BigSiouxSaddlery Some info here that might be of help, several options for resizing. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171 Quote

I've tried resizing, and even when below the required size I still get the message that they are above the required size. Quote

I can show you how to further reduce the size or quality to get the photo withing our limits. But, I need to get some answers first. Are you using a hand-held device, or a computer? If a computer, is the operating system Microsoft Windows or something else? What app or program did you use to resize it? What is the size in pixels you got it down to (width x length)? What is the file size after reduction (in mb)? If you are running a Windows computer, I can explain how you can use the FastStone Photo Resizer to reduce the dimensions and quality. I have found if I try and load an over size picture it will not work to delete it and then try and put in the smaller picture size. It still tells you it is too big. I have found that you have to drop that posting go out of it then reopen and start again with the smaller picture and then it works. Sometimes if your quick it will remember all your words but allow the smaller picture to work. Quote Wild Harry - Australian made leather goodsYouTube Channel Instagram

Moderator Wizcrafts Posted November 15, 2021 Moderator Report Posted November 15, 2021 There is also the issue of the EXIF Data that identifies a photo. If during the resizing process you maintain the EXIF data, the server will think it is the same file. But, the previous advice is a great tip. It is in effect clearing the upload cache. Members Sheilajeanne Posted November 15, 2021 Members Report Posted November 15, 2021 If you are running Windows, you will have Microsoft Paint. Right-click on the photo, and you'll get a popup that includes 'the option 'Open with'. Click on that, and select Paint. When the photo opens in Paint, the tool bar at the top includes a 'resize' option. Click on that, select 'pixels' and enter a figure of around 500 for the horizontal dimension. The vertical dimension will resize automatically to keep the picture in correct proportion. If you want to save the original non-resized picture, select 'save as' from the menu bar, and give the resized photo a new name. If I'm dealing with a cell phone picture, I e-mail it to my desktop computer. When I attach it to the e-mail, it gives me the option to resize it. Quote
Members Cumberland Highpower Posted November 16, 2021 Members Report Posted November 16, 2021 Did you get your Singer at the Auction? I looked it over and watched it sell, mainly over curiosity. Looks like it went for a total of $1320 w/buyer's premium? Overall I think that was pretty reasonable for what looked like a good clean machine. Quote
Members TheDavidLeathermanShow Posted November 17, 2021 Author Members Report Posted November 17, 2021 Unfortunately highpower I got out bid on the old 97-10, I was doing it from my phone and didn’t refresh it in time but I was in it down to the wire. I did however buy quite a bit of other stuff Quote
