My Latest Project (Holster)
rookie replied to rookie's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
It is a geometric stamp, with a flower center punch. I used the smallest one that I had. The tool is available at tandy or barry king. Item #69008-00 at tandy. -
hopefully this will end up a shoulder holster. This is my first one.

Are you looking for the leather to make the linings? Purse lining you can purchase at the fabric stores. Ask for the lining material, there are differet weights and multiple colors available. For the organizer insides, I have been purchasing organizers and dayplanners off of Overstock and removing the guts and recovering them, less expensive than buying the kits and I can use better leather for the out sides. This also works with padfolios and binders. You can also purchase the zippers seperate and use an existing organizer for your pattern templates. Hope this helps... I will be posting a pic of a padfolio I am making, I am almost done. Justin

Try here, I found this a couple of months ago. They are not inexpensive! Justin http://weaglepads.com/ -
My best ride is every time I am in the saddle. Gathering cattle with me, my horse, and God. Justin

Memory Case
rookie replied to rookie's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
It isn't a silly question. I built them to their specs. All I know is they put their feed and doctor info on them in the office an then use them in their trucks with their laptops while out in the feedlot. I asked if they wanted belt loops on them and they said they were not needed. I think they need protection and identity, that is why they wanted them numbered. Justin -
