  1. Well, I appreciate that.. but when ya see the GOOD one, you'll see what I mean
  2. Yup, that's a booger from not watchin' when I used the pen on this note thingie
  3. So you got a prototype almost what you were wanting, and then you use it to test color mix for the next one, and the color is a fail, so you "paint" it black, THEN WHAT?@! Do you .. stick in on Ebay with all the other $28.95 holsters, or toss it in the drawer, to go free to the next EMP shooter who pays for a belt ?!
  4. Hey, I like it -- any tough guys heard me say that kin suck it Somebody more metric clue me in.. 3mm spacing is like 8 per inch? Hmm?
  5. From the album: Odds

I don't exactly know what this is -- something about going around this girl's wrist while she plays violin ...
  6. From the album: Odds

Made to match existing holster / mag pouch combo. Personally, I would have gone with the gunmetal buckle, since his Sig 938 is rather matte gunmetal, but... customer is right, eh?
  7. ♪ ♪ One of these things is not like the others, One of these things doesn't belong, Can you tell which thing is not like the others By the time I finish my song? ♫ ♫ The holes needed punched clean (liner) and the handwriting on there wasn't actually on the belt. Otherwise, the color was an exact match for the holster and mag pouch this gent got about 6 months ago (I really prefer they get all together, much easier to match). STILL ... when yer makin' these here "fade" or "sunburst" thingies", PUHLEEZE don't ruin the aesthetics by painting down the sides of the belt loop keeper -- it looks a bit reeedikulus when you turn it 90° to the belt.
  8. I don't know that it would -- I could have just lied, with a fictitious name and a free email account And I assume that many do exactly that. A "business contact" MIGHT need my full name and phone number, but certainly not my birth date. And fakebook wouldn't justifiably need any of that, since they are not the contact, merely the whiteboard. AND .. there you have it. Somebody thinks they have a right, or permission, to "checking" YOU. Which is unacceptable. IF I purchase something, then you would have my credit card number. And the address where I want it sent, if needed. But not the rest.
  9. Its obvious -- sell that machine and get one that fits your edge guide. Is it hitting the roller, or just the bracket? If the left capscrew is tight, should be able to just remove the one under the lift arm. I assume you aren't LEANING ON THE LEATHER for support -- one screw should hold it.
  10. fakebook. ANY "closed" group requires that, right? Realisitcally, WHY would a group even be "closed"? If you sell something, wouldn't you WANT it seen? Got a message from fakebook.. want my mobile phone #, wont let me log in without it. Nah.. I don't think I need to provide a phone number, or my name, or my birth date, or anything else to somebody NOT EVEN THE ONE selling me something. Incidentally, my credit has been LOCKED for a long time. If I ever decide to finance anything, THEN I would unlock it long enough to run teh credit, before putting the lock RIGHT BACK on What part of 'none of your business' are people not getting these days? I guess when you have a world where people actually kill themselves trying to post pics of what they're doing ...
  11. Yup. If somebody random dialed your number (so they have your number) and said they need your full name and date of birth, would you give it to them? Other way, if they had your name, would you then give them your phone # and date of birth? Or would you conclude that they 1) are insane, or 2) have decided that you are an idiot.
  12. Got asked to "check out" a fakebook page, buyin/sellin/swappin things for leather. But apparently, can't get to that page from a business page, I guess only personal account? Yeah, okay -- create a personal account. No, you really DON"T need to know my date of birth to sell me leather tools, but ... fine, create personal account. But apparently can't see the "conversation" until you join the group. So, you're joining a group you don't know what it's about. Now that you've provided your full name and date of birth. None of which has anything to do with selling me leather equipment. So, fine - join the group. And get a note saying you're "pending" ... Some people just OUT OF CONTROL arrogant. WTH exactly do these people think they are?@! Hey, you DON"T wanna sell / swap your stuff, just keep doing what you're doing. And the "cobra machine" group, same thing. And some "artisan digital poo" thing, same thing. Wow -- I guess if nobody tells you you're "special", gotta say it yourself?@! Thanks anyway, folks... that's like a store stocking the shelves, then requiring ID at the door You can keep it, then ...
  13. for a full size, I wouldn't use less than 7/8 oz. Many prefer 8/9 oz, but I think if you're using a reinforcement panel 7/8 will be fine. Maybe a bit heavier for the paddle itself, depending on what youre using there -- leather only? kydex? metal?
  14. From the album: Stuff 'n' things

Swing 'n' a miss... no cigar. Revision 1 out soon
  15. From the album: Stuff 'n' things

Didn't realize it until I went to cut it out, but this is the first time I got asked to do this holster in this coloring. That's a popular little shooter.
  16. Yup, this here ↑ Snug up the bottom, and it will not only cosmetically line up, but will put the majority of the friction (pronounced ree- ten - shun) in the BOTTOM of the rig, so the guy doesn't have to PULL the entire length - just break it loose and yer good Common for most Glocks, Smith's shield, many others...
  17. Nice color (and cool design ). I got a request to do one the OTHER way around -- red shark on black cow.
  18. Alrightey, then ... I was logged in, and got the error. Must not have logged off. Not sure why it would send me to the logon page when I AM logged in. But when I log OFF (or out) then the links DO work and I do not get redirected to the logon page. Incidentally, give that kid I talked to yesterday a raise.... (drat- still better at remembering a girl's voice than her name). Her knowledgeable and honest answers to my questions talked me OUT OF buying that little bit of those leathers - wasn't the right call for the job - but likely results in LARGER future purchases from us.
  19. Well, that was the idea.;) Getting that same thing this morning, though. Could be on my end I suppose, but its ONLY your site. When I click the link above https://www.springfieldleather.com/Oxford-XCEL-Sides-London-Green it DOES go to that page. Then in a second (or two) it auto redirects to https://checkout.springfieldleather.com/Springfield-Quickstart/Denali-Quickstart/checkout.ssp?origin=home&is=login&login=T#login-register Did I make a point of logging OUT when I was done? Checking ...
  20. weird - not getting it now. Got it for several days -- even when logged in it would divert to that page and ask for login. Recognized my login, allowed me to put stuf in the cart, then would ask me to login even though it showed me logged in (?!@#). Tried it both ways, using links above, seems okay now -- logged in or not. Latest version of Chrome.
  21. clearing and checking ...
  22. @TonySFLDLTHR I mentioned it to that girl this morning, but again -- might mention to teh IT guys... clicking those links BEGINS to open that page, then quickly redirects to a page to log in. Just irritating. I'm pretty easy to work with, but I can see some people gtting irritated and shopping elsewhere.
