  1. Thank you one and all !!! Here's a pic of it laid out before it was finished.
  2. First off we have, I thought i've give figure carving a go. I think i've pretty much mastered this skill now. I know , i know. Don't be hate'n! I'm really thinking of do a tutorial for figure carving. Here's a cuff i did for a good friend. He gave it as a b-day gift to Bobzilla. Bob is the bass player for a band called "hell yeah" and was the bass player for "damage plant". Anyway, on his back is a full back piece (tattoo) of two koi. So i put one of the koi on a cuff and this is what we have. Know him and one of the other band members are asking about guitar straps...crossing fingers here... Know on to the skull.. I pretty much did the dye job just like Tom has shown. Big thanks to brotha Tom!! I had a hardtime getting pics on this one, but here's what we have... -freak out
  3. That's nice. Very Nice !! I got a few questions if ya don't mind. 1- what weight are you using for the lining? 2-what dye/color did you use? Nice pattern, yours ? Again, Very nice!!
  4. That looks awethume!! Very nice design and love the color! You can add me to your fan list.
  5. Alex, i've always been a fan and you have yet to let me down. They both look very clean and "tight", well done !! What finish did you use on the wallet ? What's for lunch today ?
  6. Can i call ya Ray? My main man Ray, that is just freakin intensely insane, King !!!! I love everything about it brotha. You didn't pull any punches on this one, and it shows. You stated about 15 hours. Is that cutting a stitching time? I'm guessing you've got mad hours just laying it all out and deciding on what material (form of exotic) to use and where. Love it Kevin, freakin love it !!!! Oh yea, one last thing. What machine do you use again? LOL !! Good to see your work again, King !!
  7. Wow !! that looks great man. I'm not sure i could pull of that design. I know i couldn't at one setting. Did you hand stitch these?
  8. Again, WOW !! beautiful work Kate, just beautiful !!
  9. I think Storm took the words rite out of my mouth, STUNNING !!!!
  10. I freakin love those. Great design !!! Did you design the .... um what would you call that, scroll work i guess ?? NICE !!
  11. Thanks all for the kind words!!! It was a really fun project to do. One i've had in my head for a couple of years now. It came out pretty much like the vision i had for a first. If i do another it's gonna go just a little more to it, IF. We'll see i guess. lol I like using the antique for the main color. It's easy to apply and covers very equal.
  12. Not at all man. I hope you do and i hope you post it!! Thanks Grumpy !! I think the steampunk and wasteland look are alot a like. Or are they the same. LOL
  13. Thanks Bryan !! The horse shoe idea was kind of a easy one for this one. She's got a few other things that are made out of shoes. Thanks Storm! I love doing this type of dye job when i get the chance. Thanks Alex! Color on the coasters ? I dyed the background "dk cocoa brown" then just used gel antique "tan". Pretty simple really and fast. Thanks welder5724, It's only attached by the headgear attachment bolts. It's more of a cover or faceplate. I may go back and add a few Chicago screws if needed. I didn't want to glue it or anything like that, just incase i ever have to take it off.
  14. been wanting to do this for a while now. Got a small crack in my welding helmet. Like any true man with mad can do anything skills, i put a piece of duct tape over the crack. I work outside and i'm very, very tough on this helmet. So we'll see how well this holds up. Used one of those cheap shoulders ????-02 they always have on sell at TLF, you now the ones that are like $20. Used all Tandy's eco-flo dyes, so we'll really see how they fare in the elements. Kinda going for that wasteland look.. ONe of the sets i remembered to get pics of. Sent this out last month for x-mas. And check out that cool new stylus a friend made for me.
  15. Wowww...... That's just super nice Kate! I love seeing you work and so does my wife. I always call her in the room to look at your work. She always says the same thing i do when i first look, "wow, that's really nice".
  16. Thanks Kate. The white goop ( lol ), it's fiebing's antique paste. I'm not sure they still make the white. Some time back i was asking about how to make a white antique. Someone here ( sorry i can't remember who ) said and showed they used some type of paste you add to any acrylic paint to make your own antique. Also at that time a local board member told me he had some old fiebing's white that i could have. Well i jumped rite on that and i'm glad i did.
  17. bracker style i guess coffee wraps thing a majigg ..... Here's the first one i did about a year ago... The photo type if you will..

  19. those look really nice. That's a nice picture also !
  20. Looks great ! I just made one for my blackberry curve and one thing to remember is the magnet. It puts the phone in "holster" mode. So when you slide the phone in, it will not activate anything and locks the keys. It really sux to pull your phone out to discover you've been online the last two hours in your pocket. HAHAHAHA... i said online in your pocket....
