  1. Moved your post to leather sewing machines. You'll get more response here. Have you searched the site for a manual, or the web?
  2. My niece uses a long arm machine built specifically for quilting. https://graceframe.com/en/sewing-machines/qnique21
  3. If you do a search for USMC Black, you will find lots of comments about it. One of the most common is the amount of buffing required to stop rub off. Much of the dye lays on top and doesn't get down into the leather itself.
  4. Thank you to @Burkhardt for providing the following information. Thread is unlocked, carry on! Supreme Court: You Bought It, You Own It, You Can Resell It https://smallbiztrends.com/2013/03/resale-rights-you-bought-own.html @Houlihan Saddlery @CowboySaddlery
  5. @Houlihan Saddlery This thread is locked unless you can show me different. Will be moved to old/sold in a couple days if you are not able to provide evidence to the contrary.
  6. Moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines
  7. Bottom photo appears to be single loop. Notice that it doesn't lay as nicely on the back side of the lacing. I have used both types on the same project. Single loop on thin seam and double loop on thicker seam. The double loop was just too bulky on the thin seam.
  8. I use edge coat (paint) rather than trying to burnish it.
  9. @strafe Please use jpeg files as they are able to be viewed without having to download the files. Converted your file and uploaded it to your original post.
  10. Hard to see enough, but it appears to be double loop. Can't see where the lace goes behind.
  11. Moved to wanted instead of for sale!
  12. Moved your post to leather sewing machines. You are more likely to get help here.
  13. According to the IP address, located in the area of Algonquin, Illinois, 60102 @NanLynne You should add your location to your profile. This is a world wide forum. Your location helps to get you the info you want for your area and country.
  14. You probably need to resize the photos to fit the file size allowed here. Take a look through this thread. There are several helps and suggestion. Also lots of info and apps on the web about resizing photos. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is adequate resolution, especially considering the resolution of the phones, tablets and many monitors won't display in high res.
  15. That's a bunch of malarkey. What are you, 150 yo? If you have lots of photos and video, you appear to have a reasonable amount of computer savvy. Look through this thread for some helps and suggestions. There are also many helps, apps and suggestion on the web. You need to follow the marketplace rules!
  16. You need to quote at least part of the OP's post, or tag the OP so they will get a notification in case their notifications aren't set properly. Also seems many who have posted for sale items don't check their thread to see if there are any results. You can tag a member by typing the @ symbol followed by their username and pick their username from the popup list. Like this: @Teradee you have a query
  17. Please provide your location a little more specific than your profile. Also provide information on shipping, both USA and International. Will you ship and who pays? Please review the marketplace rules.
  18. Moved to Home > Specialty Leatherwork > Saddles and Tack > General Saddlery Discussion
  19. Time to lock this thread. Has just turned into a bunch of nonsense!
  20. You can reduce your file size down to 800 or even 1024 pixels per inch on the longest dimension. That is plenty good resolution considering people using smart phone, tablets, and computer monitors that don't have the resolution to display high res photos. It helps people on the fringes of the internet that have low download speeds. High res photos take a long time to download if you are in a fringe area. Your work is great!! Love it.
  21. You need to tag him or quote at least part of his post so he will get a notification. He hasn't been on the site since Oct 23. To tag a user, type the @ symbol followed by the username and pick the name from the popup box, like this @donyx11 You have a query.
  22. @Seamyher89 Please keep these related posts in one thread instead of starting a new thread each time you find something related to your machine's problem. I have merged your 2 other threads into this thread.
  23. Not magic (or trick) braid, has billets sewn over the braided ends. With magic braid, there wouldn't be any billets sewn on top the braid. Looks like an 8 strand flat braid. Bruce Grant's Leather Braiding book has examples of 6, 7, and 9 thong flat braids. His Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding has the same flat braids. Both books are well worth the money if you are interested in braiding. There are lots of YouTube videos available as well.
