  1. roje leather has worked great for me. they have an ebay store where you can see the exact piece you are buying.
  2. 200 shipped for the lot? If so, I will take them all. email me at danatzlogonjedotcom
  3. I will take all of the Duncans models that are still available. Plese PM me with a cost and how to make payment. Thanks!
  4. I called today early in the AM to order 4 sides of leather and 3 bellies. Had to leave a message. No return call. Maybe tomorrow huh
  5. If you bought the Fiebings Cordovan dye it comes out pretty dark if you do not reduce it. Hard to tell apart from the black after oiling and sealing. This has been my experience. Others must have better luck as it seems people must still buy it.
  6. I prefer to mold with a boning tool or an antler, etc... using a real firearm for molding seems like it would be awkward and potentially damage the damp leather if the front sight gets snagged or something...
  7. If they are both steel framed single stack 380 mags I would guess yes. There doesnt seem to be a lot of variation in sizes between magazines with the same build style and caliber. If someone can confirm my guess that would be awesome though.
  8. Every Rings mag I have is empty. Makes it kind of a PITA for doing mag carriers. I also wish they molded their guns with the safety in the "ON" position.
  9. Theyre close enough that with a little diamond file work you can make a 1911 mag function in the XD-S.
  10. 1911 mag width: 0.540" 1911 mag depth: 1.374" 1911 mag length: 4.572" XD-S mag width: 0.555" XD-S mag depth: 1.380" XD-S mag length: 3.545" Length measurements taken along the spine of the mag, from top of feed lips to baseplate. 1911 mag used for measurements is a Chim McCormick 8 round Power Mag. Short story, yes, but watch the length. Personally, I wouldnt go any deeper than the 5 hole on a 1911 mag. Hope this helps!
  11. i BUILD A HECK OF A LOT OF HOLSTERS FOR THAT GUN. Oops, caps lock, sorry Not a terribly difficult gun to work with. Makes for an OK looking holster even.
  12. On the buckle end I drop down to a single thickness of leather about 1/4" before the slot for the tongue starts. Hope that helps!

  15. Welcome to leatherworker.net! I buy all my blueguns from http://www.bluegunstore.com/ Prices are good, shipping is fast, plus he is a forum member here. Used dummy guns are sometimes sold in the classifieds section a few spots down on the main forum page. You might have better luck there, as well as being a more appropriate place for these types of posts.
  16. I've been using a Boss for 19 months. Sucks for belts and stuff like VM2 clones, but otherwise it's been good to me.
  17. borrowed one and then found one for sale. This thread can be locked down. Thanks!
  18. Good luck. I've sent them emails a few times and have never received a reply.
  19. Tandy Eco-Flow "All-In-One" dye applied by blotting on with a sponge. I do a lot of marbled holsters.
