  1. Looks great Chief! Isn't it nice to finally have time to make something for yourself?
  2. Nice wallets Joe! I sometimes like edges raw and unburnished. Nice designs.
  3. Sometimes it can be so frustrating... Glad it's working and for a decent price. I have the Tippmann Aerostitch.
  4. That looks very nice, Sona! What is loden?
  5. Thanks for clarifying that it's Bushcraft style. Good idea on the welt! 8-9oz. leather for the base? What is the preferred leather? Thanks
  6. My brother in law asked me to replicate this nylon sheath into leather. I told him I know nothing about knives or sheaths but I would try. He wants to keep the pocket also. One question is weight of leather and type of leather to use and what will protect the stitching with him pulling the knife in and out of the sheath? Being that the original is flexible what problems will I have making a leather sheath? The size is roughly 16"L x 3 1/2" wide. Thanks all
  7. I agree with Ferg. Great work! Great color too!
  8. Thanks for all the help... Just what I needed to see RiverCity. Nice explanation and photos. Come to find out the rivets sent with the fob kit were too long for the thickness of leather.
  9. Lol, we all have those moments too! Some of life's best ideas come by straying from original plans.
  10. Wow, great snippets of information to chew on...thanks everyone for the input!
  11. These rivets are the ones sent in a cheapo key fob kit. Some set just right but some don't. I use the hand setter with the dome end that's required for the rivets. Are there better rivets out there to buy?
  12. Anyone have a fool proof way of setting rivets without wasting the whole bag due to bending or setting crooked?? The setter just isn't at all working well...
  13. This was only $40 from EmbossingDieCompany.
  14. A simple key fob with my new embossing stamp. Very easy to use and I think it stands out nicely!
  15. Just got back some professional photos of the bike with the seat on...here is one of the photos.
