  1. Thanks Chief, I knew you had worked with it. Just the info I was looking for.
  2. I will be receiving an alligator skin already tanned and ready to use from a friend/ hunter. What items are best with alligator and what are the pros and cons to using it? Are some sections better for certain items like with cow leather? Is it easy to sew? Do you put anything on it as a sealer? I know nothing about it. Thanks
  3. Never heard of them. What is their Facebook name?
  4. I feel your pain...all the disposable gloves just don't last long enough to get through a project.
  5. The head also pulls off for easier use.
  6. Nothing wrong with repurposing...and the bag looks great!! Nice work!!
  7. Hi Mark, Sounds like you hit the jackpot! I don't know anything about your brands of dies. I use my 20 ton shop press without using the compressor air hooked up. Only using my arm strength and it works well. How are you trying to post pics? Message me and I'll help you through it.
  8. Haven't posted much lately...here's a recent seat going to Sturgis.
  9. Also the sun will darken leather. You said you let it set out in the sun for several hours. Nice work.
  10. Neat sheath! I agree with you, doesn't look handmade as far as the design goes but still cool!
  11. Welcome! I would love to see more of your wood working skills.
  12. Nice! You have more patience than me...
  13. It's always nice to be able to enjoy something you created...good job!
  14. I believe she has pressed it with a form. Since it looks like she's making several it would take too long to do all that by hand and have them all end up the same. Looks like she does nice work.
  15. I saw you other post too...nice work Wangqhd!
  16. Evening Sanch, it's been a little slow on here so maybe you'll get a response later this evening.
