  1. Welcome...I like your project photos....How lucky you are coming across the leather tools. You saved alot of money. I think you are doing well in your tooling for no longer than you have tooled. I think the metalsmith/jeweler/artist will help you become even better.
  2. I second the airbrush! That's a nice look!
  3. Those are pretty wild! I need to get busy on some of my projects!
  4. Hey, are you really the boogieman?? Welcome Dale, you'll learn a lot on this site! Can't wait to see some of your work.
  5. Nice bike....great looking seat....superb bag!
  6. Sounds like the plan was good right up to the glueing. You can't get it tight because it's stiff? I would try wetting only the back. I only make solo seats so I only deal with a top and bottom. Post some photos...maybe someone else has a suggestion.
  7. Maybe because Mop n Glow is for floors! I know in other threads it's been talked about in several posts of people using it. I use Leather Balm also. I think I'll stick with products for leather.
  8. Now that's a dog collar! The loop on top is a good idea.

    Omniwhip

    That's cool! Great name....
  10. Just finished lacing....now on to the next one!
  11. I don't make whippets or leads but several people on here are excellent at their braiding skills. Maybe they can chime in. I have heard though the lace SHOULD be beveled. It's nice that you have plenty of kangaroo in your area. I love using kangaroo lace!
  12. I don't have the book....do you mean like this?
  13. I mean the inverted carving just makes the back!
  14. BEAUTIFUL! But I must have missed a few posts... What did the brass rod do to the leather if anything?
  15. Oh WOW! The inverse carving just made that belt! It looks great! Really nice work!
