  1. Thanks, Only the lace is Kangaroo. My first one of this size with all veg-tan leather.
  2. Carved and dyed and laced with Kangaroo. This was a hefty one.
  3. Thanks Spacedog Not the best photo. This seat has a high rise. If I would have thought about that before the layout, I would have known it would make the skull look more squatty.
  4. I saw this quote today and it just struck me as brilliant. Ya think you know, then you learn.
  5. My husband makes oil tanks and parts for motorcycles and he got requests for seats. Some of my knowledge came from here on Leathernet or watching videos. Most I make are solo seats. I'm now making a 2 up and we'll see how it comes out. Thanks for all the comments everyone!
  6. This seat was to look worn so this look is from dye only. No buffing away dye or sanding it off.
  7. Interesting...good ideas. My main concern was the thread holding out. Thanks
  8. 2 different types of leather made me question using them together. Thanks for the response.
  9. I had thought of using milled since it is still veg tan and plus I have to dye them both the same color. Thanks for the response.
  10. Not sure if I've seen this question asked before but, what are the ins and outs of sewing vegtan leather to softer leather whether upholstery or whatnot? Being that vegtan is stiffer are there right or wrong ways to sew the two together without issue?
  11. Haven't posted in a while. Here is my latest. Getting busier for this time of year.
  12. Thanks Paprhangr, I have one of the bottom not finished. I've been having trouble signing in since the site has changed. I always have to change my password. Anyone else having issues?
  13. Seat for Green Devil Garage. Black and tan with black lacing.
  14. I'm going to jump in and say since it's already finished like upholstery leather the only thing to put on it would be a light leather cream only when needed. I've not used embossed leather so this is a guess. Super Sheene and Tan Kote or anything oily I would think would be a no no. Nice seat by the way.
  15. Thanks guys, my next one should be a breeze!
  16. Tan leather with dark brown lacing
