I have not ordered from them still trying to nail down my mark. I did get a quote for a plate that was 8 1/2 × 11 from Phillips engraving for $145. They did say there was no minimum size requirement when ordering. Hope this helps

Can any confirm that this will work to mold a Colt Commander? I know blue gun makes one but the BH fits in my budget.

Be careful what kind of leather you use. If it id chrome tanned leather it will take the finish off your firearm.

Any one know if the 1911 will work for a commander?

Just made this batch of linwax first time making/using the stuff. I think I might have burned the wax though.

So I started this 1911 double layer holster about a month and a half ago and about 3 weeks ago I broke both bones in my right arm. The customer been really understanding but is getting impatient. As you can see I am really close to finishing the holster up. Would it be alright to run a second stitch line to the right of the one I have already sewn? Thought and comments are always appreciated.

So i made a concealment holster for my brother last year who works for PPD AZ. Now two guys on his department want small of back with the gun horizontal to the belt with the grip facing up towards the head. Trying to wrap my head around a design for this that wont be bulky. Its for a glock 30. Any ideas? Pictures? Thoughts?

Okay dumb question I have a scrap piece of 4-5 oz that I am going to do this holster from.do I need to double up the throat belt piece as well?

I remember seeing a thread on how to do this but now that I need to re read it I cant find it. Any help will be appreciated.

Just so its cut and dry don't put GT on the inside of the holster?

I have never lined a holster but the last couple I have done the gum trag/burnish. Is it worth the investment to do lined? Does burnishing make that much difference? Maybe I am over thinking this a bit.
