  1. Would you be willing to do a standard size for the ipad?
  2. You might get a better response in the holster sub forum.
  3. I bought a pattern pack from Tandy for a basic gun belt pattern. On the pattern it says for 44" add +X etc etc. My question is if I have a 36" waist how much slack do I add for to that to have a comfortable belt. I should mention this is for a cowboy style belt/holster combo. Thanks
  4. I have made a holster for this guy in the past and after he complained about it for weeks and I remade it twice I told my self I would not make him anything else not worth the aggravation. I bid the holster WAY higher than I Normally would have. Well it kind of back fired on me and he agreed on the price.
  5. I have this gentleman who want a cross draw for a Sig X5 competition. I have never attempted to make a cross draw and was wondering what the best angle is to have the gun sit at. He wants a pancake with a thumbbreak. Thanks for the advice.
  6. I guess you could take a large nail and file and make a pattern you like and go about it that way.
  7. hand press made into a foot press= cool! - http://pinterest.com/pin/441071357228430566/?utm_source=android_share
  8. I was just about to say. If you have any doubt in your mind than NO its not safe. I was in the same situation a little while ago on a personal holster. After it was sitting on the bench for a week or so I was so uncomfortable with the thought of wearing it or having it around that I cut it up and thre it away. Always go with your gut.
  9. My guess is it's his presser foot on his machine. You can see where he went outside his groove on the front near the bottom. But that is just a guess.
  10. I realize this is pretty old thread but I just noticed that Savoy Leather is doing a LV holster. I am not going to post any of his pictures but you can find them on instagram and Facebook. Just thought some of you might be interested in it.
  11. I bought a pin vise for 3 bucks off eBay. Got it the other day haven't had a chance to try it yet. Oldsniper thead was the one I was looking for. Thanks for all the help.
  12. This is the first holster of this style I have ever made and I am having some issues with it.when put on the belt and you try and pull the firearm from the holster it tends to want to rock the top of the holster into the body and the bottom away from the leg Making it very awkward to draw
  13. Is this still available?
  14. Did this sell?
  15. It's not a shoulder rig but this is what I came up with.
  16. I swear I read a thread on here where a couple of people bought parts off eBay and made there own handles. I cannot find the thread. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks
  17. Can you post some more pictures of the glock holster? Would like to see the back as well as one from the top without the gun in it.
  18. I suspect that you will have to wet mold the front piece. The ones my dad had on his duty belt had like a piece of PVC on the inside just bigger then the shells.
  19. If it was me I would do a stiffer piece with a hole just smaller then the coin. I would then sew the around the coin as well. Hope this makes sense.

  21. Thanks Red that's what I thought you I know every holster will take off finish but there is a difference between ruining a finish and having holster wear.
  22. Long story short my cousin wants a "cowboy style" holster belt combo. Well when I talked to him today and he said "my dad use to work in a tannery and he said to line the holster with chrome tanned elk hide." I thought chrome tan leather will remove the finish on a gun? I told him if he wants to spend the money on a whole elk hide I would do it.
