  1. It goes in from the edge about 1/2". 1/4" past the stitches. It is also glued with Barge cement.
  2. Yes, four layers at the haft, then feathered down to three layers across the cutting edge.
  3. Thanks Stu. It was a fun project.
  4. Thanks Chief. I really enjoyed putting this one together.
  5. Made this sheath for a customer. All hand stitched. I used Fiebings Mahogany Oil Dye and Tan Kote for the finish. All comments welcome.
  6. You do lovely work Chief. Those look great.
  7. You did an excellent job on that!
  8. Double Wow!! That is a real beauty.
  9. I am a holster maker and hand stitch or lace all my holsters but am hoping to get a machine sometime in the near future. I think you did a really good job on the case. I would like to make one sometime but I am quite busy with holsters at the present.
  10. That is really bright!! How big is it? What does it look like on the inside. Handle and latch both look good and the stitching is nice and even. Is it hand stitched or did you use a machine?
  11. That looks great. I think you did a great job on it.

  18. Thank you Chris for the kind words. Thank you Double Daddy, That extension was an easy fix when I didn't have the right gun.
  19. Thank you so much. That answers my question.
  20. I have a question along this same line. When the back of the wallet is larger than the interior how do you space the holes for lacing and have the same amount of holes in the inside as well as the outside? Or do you somehow go through some holes twice on the outside and once on the inside?
  21. I finished up a couple of holsters for a customer. The short one is for a Ruger SP101 with a 3" barrel and the long one is for a Ruger Single Six with a 9 1/2" barrel. I only had a Single Six with a 6 1/2" barrel available so I went out to my wood shop and made myself an extension with an old cleaning rod, piece of walnut and a bolt. Here are some pictures. Comments welcome.
  22. Thank you Chief. That is a good idea for the musicians wearing leather buckles. I never thought of that before. That should be a good selling point.
