I just got a cobra NP 4 and its the bomb,,, well made ,easy assembly, set up,,FOR LEATHER and now its my learning curve which will need adjustment Talk to Steve,,,tell him what you want and how you wanted it set up.Give samples or pics and they will get it right from the "get go" I also looked at the consew and figured a setup and tested machine is well worth a few $hundred$ more, money saved on the learning curve and test material,,

IMHO bump it up to the cb 2500 and make it work for you ,,,,,, heavy stitch,,,,,and close the ends by hand a couple hand stitches,,, BUT the,,,, Cobra 3 or cb 3500 could be the bomb,,,,,,, just a thought db,,, worth considering for??????????? the next project or one you might turn away,,,, , future investment.......... a little more but a lot of return options,,,,,,db

Steve and Leather machine is my choice, with a lot of thought and studying and asking Q's. I went with a cobra 4-25 and a skiver from them should be here in a few days Bob at Toledo was also right there and would be another, with out a doubt both first class owners, IMHO db I have singer 211a166aa similar to the cobra 18 , but smaller bobin, which could do what you want, but wanted the little extra from a 441 clone type and a consew 227r as well as an older singer 145w302 beast

Just a thought,, what are most table heights on sewing machines,? My machines are all at 34",to top of table, and on casters, and feel pretty comfortable for me, 6'1" ,,34 inseam legs, for ease of movement,,is this close to the norm??? singer 211 flatbed and a consew 227r set on top of full table no cutout also what height do most users, find best for a 441 clone???? for ease of use??? type of work???? measuring from the needle, or top of cylinder arm??? thanks David,,, just wondering....
