  3. Hey Rod WELCOME BACK! I have a maul from Bearman and it looks different, but could be from any assortment of phases:)
  4. I actually make the main strap the full length then add the attachment half the length of the tail. IF YOU HAVE A PIECE OF LEATHER THAT IS 60'' but ball parked is ok as well as long as the extension hole to hole =60...
  5. I am a huge fan of teh divided shapes and like yourself I have been trying real hard to get some of my designs stream lined...that strap looks awesome man! I really LOVE THE DIVISION SHAPES!
  6. It is great that there are so many groups on facebook and divisions of who is where but I urge you all to not forget your roots!!!!! You need to also post here not just on teh evil empires site! PLEASE...seems like it has slowed down a bit here...Post work and talk here as well:) That is my rant for the day carry on pounding!

Lightningad, FB is a fast paced environment and it is mobile. That's the appeal. But, Chancey is right. This is where MY roots are, and it's time to get back to business after Sheridan.

There is a reason I prefer this site to any other..THE FOLKS HERE ARE THE BEST! Sure we have our reasons to post other places and our clicks have formed in lots of factions, but....THIS IS THE SPOT to really learn from and help others. THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS I AM GLAD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY!

  10. SWEET! I like the edge..very sneaky! hahaha
  11. That is a wood carving tool. But I have several I use for leather...so obviously it works so USE IT!
  12. Well WELCOME! I am in Finland right now I saw land of the midnight sun and thought you where here..but Scandic brothers is all the same I guess:) Careful there are Swedes here:) ahahaha We won't talk about them being sweet:) hahaha
  13. I like this pattern. It is the same as my dads old Klein electricians pouch. Old school!
  14. I wet molded in the awl and pliers so they are in and out and safe very easily. This is not like a permanent pouch for those tools to live in, just for when i am sitting lacing something flat just off the table and clamped. I noticed about 35 minuets faster lacing with all the tools just inches from the work space, I always pull down with the pliers for hard pull needles, so i was dropping them off my lap and hitting my foot...so I made this..also saved my seat from the awl:) It has 2 leg straps and a strap to the belt buckle so when you have to get up lock everything into place and go do whatever you got up for and all the tools are right there when you come back. Really the editions that could be added are endless.. I really want to see what everyone comes up with in addition! Lets make a super sick perfect pouch!
  15. This is like my signature strap..maybe the 20th arrow strap I have made. I change the designs on the rest above the arrow on all of them but the arrow is always front and centre
  16. THANKS FERG AND YETI!
  17. Here is a pouch i made for a shoe repair guy that needs tools fast. Here is the template ...put it together how ever you like, sew it, lace it, rivet it...it is all up to you... This pouch is very handy for all sorts of trade work...hair designers, carpenters, metal workers, shoe repair, sewing, electricians..whatever you can dream..add another front piece and get rid of the zippo pouch, again, this is a basic template I made and want to share:)
  18. Most likely shipping that from here to the USA will be about 15 bucks.
