Pretty good job on that Dan.. I can imagine it would be a bit of a challenge to get the coloring correct.

Okay started looking around and found this for the goat lacing.. I have not ordered from them, so I can't say anything but they have it http://www.psdaimaandsons.com/psdaima/prod...her/chart16.htm or http://www.earthguild.com/products/cords/leathrlc.htm

I did that the other night on one I was working on. The only problem I had was that it seemed to scratch off a bit of the pattern as I was tracing with my stylus..

I have the Art of Hand Sewing... I guess my main problem is I can't find the awls on the websites and we don't have a Tandy's in my neck of the woods

I am about to start to learn how to stitch but I am a bit confused on awl selection. I know I need a diamond tip sewing awl but everytime I start looking, I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Can I get some help with picking out a good awl for just general stitching like on quivers, arm guards, belts, and belt pouches. I got into this when I started learning to shoot a traditional longbow, if that helps. Great Appreciated Matt

Tracey.. you happen to post on Don Fogg's Blade smith board from time to time? Reason I ask your work looks like one I saw on there a while back... and if you don't, you might want to check it out.. http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php -
