  1. Nice dye job! What color/brand of dye is that?
  2. Went on their site today. Home page is fine but with all others Google Chrome pops up a big red malware warning sign.
  3. Nice little holster there... just be careful. It can be a very addicting hobby, enjoy.
  4. Those pesky little protrusions on the newer model firearms....Do you account for them in your holsters?... Some have them some don't and they vary in location from model to model. Do you check with your customers before molding to block them out if needed?
  5. No problems ever... Rob is a stand up guy and I order from him often. What Denster said is spot on about Rings... I don't like having to wait several weeks for a blue gun either but with all the new yahoo's melting plastic around a bluegun and calling it a holster, delays are inevitable.
  6. That's really nice longtooth... Thanks for sharing... I guess I may be over thinking the whole cross draw thing...
  7. Is there a "standard" negative degree angle for a simple belt slide cross draw holster? I have a request for one for "somewhere around 30 degrees" ... It should be fairly simple but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get that much angle and still make a "functional" holster... also it's lefty for a 4" 1911... Pictures would help greatly.
  8. Have any of you that refused a refund had an issue with PayPal? I do know that a customer can file a complaint and sometimes the money is refunded almost immediately... Without even contacting the seller other than to inform them that the funds were taken from their account... Also what about a money back guarantee that most makers have???
  9. Did you get that hide from Tandy?... I have never had an issue before with any Tandy hides sucking in the Fiebing's dye but the last ones I picked up about a month or so ago are doing just as you described... They were cheap on sale ones. In some areas the dye barely coats the surface other areas it works well.
  10. I have only had mine a week. But so far so good. After the initial quirks were worked out it seems to be working well. You might want to start another thread on this, I think you will get a better response.
  11. That sheath is very nice indeed... But that knife is really BadAss!
  12. Nice tutorial Dwight...Thanks for sharing... That came out beautiful. How did you stitch that?
  13. That awl is a great tool if you like bloody fingers... For hand stitching I lay out with the "pricking irons" aka chisels then drill with a Dremel... Hopefully I won't be doing much of that anymore because my Tippmann Boss arrived yesterday!!! It's all set up and seems to be working great... After a few hours or so of tighten this, pull that and twist this... Thank goodness I have a wife that can look at a stitch and tell what needs to be adjusted...
  14. Even though you paid a little more, the question is... How do you like it???
  15. That'll work... Really liking that metal bench it's sitting on too.
  16. Oh my, I think you accomplished your goal... That is a work of art!
  17. Thanks Guys, I tried the neutral kiwi stuff on the interior and it seems to be giving the desired results. A smoother draw on a new holster without a loss of retention.
  18. Very interesting process. Looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
  19. And playing with product photography.
  20. Now that's a knife!... And that sheath is simply awesome. The detail in that tooling is really sweet!
