  1. That is a very lovely belt. Excellent work with the basket weave. I wish I could get mine to look as good.

Let's see some pics when you are done! Will say invest in some Feibings Tan Kote way better than super shene in my opinion.

Looks plenty good to me. Don't be nervous and post it up. And if you need a small section of granite to work off of let me know. I have a large piece I can cut you a chunk off of.

Yeah seriously. Had a friend that used to do granite work and gave me 3 sections of granite that are huge. I have more than I will ever use in 2 lifetimes.

  4. I like them! I bet they do well. Definitely different that regular, boring collars. Can you still attach tags to them?
  5. Geeky!!! I never played a game myself, nor had the opportunity to watch one. The one you created, however, is very well done!
  6. I *really* love that belt! It is absolutely beautiful! Those colors go together extremely well. What colors were they? The picture makes the lighter one look golden. The other is a black, I think?
  7. I've never understood it, either. I've never enjoyed carrying a purse (mostly because I forget it everywhere and don't carry anything that can't fit in my pocket usually), yet my mother-in-law bought me a "Coach" purse one year for Christmas. I accepted it anyway, knowing that she wishes I'd be more girly. Then a friend told me that this tiny little thing I hated carrying around was $150. I would have preferred the money. But then, I also never understood having multiple purses to match your clothing. I also wear one pair of sneakers, one pair of sandals, and two pairs of dress shoes. But then again that's me. Most of the brand name consumers come from people who have 20 different purses, or like one of my friends (poor girl is close to addiction) who I swear has over a hundred pairs of shoes (I also swear I saw four pairs of pink flip flops, which makes no sense).
  8. Welcome and congrats! That's a really nice looking bag!!
  9. Thank you for the help. I had tried googling, but I hadn't tried looking for coloring pages. Though, I'm not sure why there'd BE coloring pages for a black and white animal.... there's no coloring TO BE DONE on most of them... (especially ones without a background).
  10. It could be complicated. Do you even have space where you would store your tools and materials?
  11. Opening an Etsy shop isn't too bad, and I bet people will love your pieces!
  12. Lots of animals are constantly made into patterns, like Eagles, Fish, Deer, etc. But I was wondering if anyone has ever been able to put a panda or a penguin on a piece of leather. I know a couple people I'd like to make things for, and it'd be nice to put those on their projects, but I haven't been able to find any pictures that (at my level anyway) I could turn into a pattern.
  13. Love the belts, and you did a great job on the design on the holster!
  14. That came out beautifully! I love how it came out!
  15. I don't know if it's the picture or not, but it looks like the name kind of blends in too well with the basket weave in place? Maybe leave a little bit of room between next time, or add a border perhaps? Aside from that, it looks like a wallet!! As long as it holds everything in, I'd say you did a great job! I like how you did the pockets. Does that make it bulky?
  16. That is beautiful! I did some dream catchers myself for a while, but I could never get the one-within-one down.
  17. I've watched so many George Hurst Tandy videos.... almost feels like I'm learning from him directly. He's easy to understand, and explains everything SO well for beginners like me. I have so much more confidence now about getting started. I've spent hours watching the videos.
