  1. Maybe along with testimonials, pictures of projects we have done using Cowboy machines(?)
  2. Congratulations Bob.....on your new web site!! I believe it's about time folks are able to feast their eyes on your fine Cowboy stitching machines!! http://www.tolindsewmach.com/
  3. Cool!! Pictures or we won't believe ya:NEWFUNNYPOST:
  4. I do the "butt up, punch holes, a couple stitches and we're done", type...takes all of two minutes. With double loops of waxed hand stitching thread, these will last the duration.
  5. My new makers stamp is here!! My new makers stamp is here!! Got it from Phillips Engraving....had to try it for the price.....and I'm not sorry I did....works great with my 1-ton arbor press.
  6. You got some wrong info.....I buy one side at a time from them.....( 800-826-6379)
  7. All I can tell you about that is for the work I do, holsters, knife sheaths, belts etc.....the only thing I use is 277 thread top and btm, with #25 needles....per Bob Kovar's and Wiz' suggestions....I'm happy with the results so I'm sticking to em.
  8. Thanks Wiz....and it's an Australian Shepherd.....but he comes no matter what you call him....
  9. Congrats on your new machine...you'll love it.
  10. I could never build one right the first second third time.....so it would be well worth the $300 for me....
  11. I think good job...I like the one with the reinforcement around the throat best......I believe you'll need it.
  12. Is a business account or tax ID required to buy at their factory?
  13. Seems like every time I've been asked to midify a holster, I've been able to talk the owner into making a new one all together. My point is that it will look better, and it's not gonna be the same holster anyway.
  14. Just as I was wondering how you kept the metal snap from rubbing up against the lighter...walla!!...the snapless pouch. Nice......may I ask what weight leather you use for these? I like the black one without the push-up hole better. But they all look great!
  15. Great looking holster...must have a belt to match, right?
  16. When I need to drill holes for hand stitching I use a 3/64" bit.......it's more of a pilot hole since I still have to use the awl to make the hole big enough to allow the needle's eyelet to pass through. I'm not sure of the needle size, it's the one Tandy sells in a 10/pack.
  17. That would be greatly appreciated!! I can wait..I've been pleased with my method but always willing to try something new. Thanks again! RG
  18. Cool Idea Katsass....I'll try that. ANYBODY willing to sell me a cake or two of that Beezwax/Paraffin mix so I can try it out........I can't boil water.....
  19. Those are very nice.....I'll be thinking hard on those. How long does it take you to make a pair, meaning hands-on time?
  20. Looks really nice......if that contact cement was applied correctly...and I'm assuming it was....it will hold up indefinitely. You would need pliers, chisels, etc. to take it apart. I've learned recently that horse butts makes the best strops.....and no compound needed. I've made mine that way.
