  1. I'm partial to the Cowboy brand because.....it's what I have. Someone said it best on here some time back.......can't decide? Get it from the dealer closest to you. You certainly won't be sorry with either.
  2. Anthony, I went to your site to check out your bags but pictures won't come up.....is it me or you??
  3. If you're making a belt for yourself or someone else, measure a belt you wear now....NOT your jean size. Measure from the tip of the buckle to the hole you now use. That's your belt size. The midway point of this measurement would be where you center the name.
  4. Lobo..had the same phenomenon this morning with this one...and another example why not to start pounding them too early, I stitched the strap in place backwards and didn't realize it til it was too late......it's for me so it's still a keeper.
  5. That's why I try to avoid white thread........and drinking before noon.....
  6. I ordered a blue gun from Rob this past week-end and got it today (Wed.)...thanks for the great service Rob, I really needed this one (LC9).
  7. That looks very cool....I really like the "irregular" results of horse.
  8. Nice work! I'm also of the plain and simple...as long as they work and last a long time! Good job.
  9. Looks like you're getting along very well with your new machine...very nice finishing on all. You got me all excited with the LCR leather.....I'm picking up a Smith 442 this week and I can't wait to start playing "dress up" with it. A pancake just like the one you built is first on my list.
  10. I know that with any problem or question I have regarding my CB3500, the answer/solution is just a phone call away...or just a 30 minute drive....to Bob. He has been very accessible and patient with me. His customer service has been priceless.
  11. I doubt very seriously that any one is any different than the other....they all do the same job. I've glued flesh to flesh with Weldwood and needed pliers to take them apart....and then destroyed the leather doing it......what more do you need it to do?
  12. Nice looking holster.....question...why the pancake style wing along the slide rather than just having it fold over at that area? Thanks.
  13. Another Weldwood user here, gel formula......you can find it at Lowes and Home Depot.
  14. I have a request for a Santa belt , but I can't seem to find a buckle supplier...can you help? Thanks, Rg
  15. They fulfilled a couple small orders I placed with them, but then on my 3rd time around, I guess they decided they were not gonna serve the litttle guy anymore, and they told me so by ignoring my numerous phone calls and emails........very poor form.
  16. I'm not a biker, but I really like that seat. Great job!!
  17. Looks very nice...I agree with above comment re the top corners, I'd rather see them rounded off a bit. I'm not a fan of rivets, I believe they are not necessary it the stitching is done right....other than that, fine looking piece.
  18. Seems like , to me anyways, it's pretty easy to end up with imperfections when using a motorized stitching machine. One little stitch slanted just so can screw up the entire line.....so it's not "perfect" but still solid and functional in every other way. Sometimes they are hard to see, but like someone mentioned earlier, because we know it's there, it glares at us with an ugly frown. I found out right away that using a machine takes more concentration than hand stitching...quite a challenge for me. Also, if we want to, we can find "imperfections" in just about everybody's work.
  19. Thanks Ferg, yes I stamped the belt, added the spots, then stitched it.
  20. Very impressive...great work!
  21. If you had posted this BEFORE you ordered, I would have told you about my Boss shopping trip and how I ended up paying a few more bucks for a motorized machine.....but you probably wouldn't appreciate it now. So for now I'll just say, good luck with the belts.
  22. D...won't the reinforcement flatten out with the rest of the mouth when done that way? Wrapping it around the fold is what helps keep it open.....I may be wrong......
  23. As usual.....great looking outfit......stamping looks a bit on the light side, could be the light tho....or my eyes.
