Here's an old receipt from a leather store in Philadelphia. I'm from Philly and spent a few years bartending right around the corner from where the shop was located before moving up to NYC. Incidentally, it's right around the corner from Betsy Ross' house. She would have been around 140 when this receipt was written!

Looking better than ever Ed! I've been checking out your bags since I joined here a couple years back and you've refined your techniques tremendously. Awesome! We should visit each other's shops. I'm not far from you. best Freddie

Here's my shop in Brooklyn NY. I spend a lot of time here. It's a mile from my apartment which seems to work well for me. It's close enough that I can walk or skateboard to work and far enough that I'm not consumed with work alone. I can see the Empire state and chrylsler bldgs and a good bit of the manhattan skyline from my windows. Sorta like having a mountainview... but not! Cheers! Freddie

CARD CASE

Excellent work brother! That asian lining is great. I have a guitar strap made from that same pattern/color. That tutorial you gave was excellent as well. I'll be trying one of these. Not sure if I should bust out the machine or handsew it. Freddie -
Hey Kevin, I typically use dbl cap rivets to attach the straps. On some cuffs, I weave the straps through so rivets arent necessary. Thanks man! F

Hey Guys, I just finished this bracelet this week. I'm still waiting on a concho that I'll use as a snap. It's my first attempt at the round braid. I fudged the corners a little. It uses 5-7 oz veg top and 2-3 oz veg liner. I used walnut oil dye and some antique paste. Thanks for looking! Freddie
