  5. Just wondering do you guys so a stitch groove on front and back of a wallet before punching the stitch holes ? or just do one side and do the other side after all holes are punched
  6. What is the best sealant to use on a wallet ? any experience in using tan kote ? or caranuba creme ?

  9. hey folks, i just finished my newest addition to my wallets , i dyed it with dark brown antique finished it with tan kote 50/50 with water , lined it with glazed pig skin and riveted the corners , feel free to comment and criticize, ! and any advice welcome as usual Also i am wondering could i give it a cote of carnauba creme on top of the tan kote ?

  11. well here it is , i bought a swivel knife and a few basic tools , some times i find the knife hops a little on the leather .... any idea why ?

  15. that looks nice for a first go , Welcome by the way , im not long at the leather work my self either just a few months , your gona like working with leather , its addictive , one thing you will have to watch is when your dying leather , some dyes i found like to rub off , especially the spirit based dyes, oil are the best and are the most colour fast
