  1. Really nice job Steve. I like these a lot. Someone will gladly pay for the extra effort and bling. My question is, without knowing what stitcher you use, do you have trouble stitching that close to the spots, without getting bounced back? Does that make sense? I use a Artisan flatbed which I really like but have felt limited by how close I can get to the spots. Thanks
  2. Man I love this forum....all these great craftsmen in one place, Kieth Seidel, Steve Mason, Bruce Johnson, and on and on....now you. I have had your site in my favorites for quite a while. You guys are all too much to live up to...but I keep trying. No one has mentined your chinks, but like everything else on your site, they are outstanding.
  3. Nice work Tina! I feel like I may be the last guy out there without a barb wire stamp, and it sure looks nice. What do you line the back with? I use shearling, but I can't tell on yours.
  4. I'll chime in and say that I agree to some degree with Ben on the symetry issue, although those metalics are slippery to deal with, but the squared bottoms are whats "in" right now, at least up here in the north. I think yours look great.
  5. Can anyone else smell the smoke? I think 'ol Chinkmaker is probably havin a a melt down after that last post. LOL Aint technology great?

Hey Chinkmaker..I don't think this is the right forum for your "crocheted" chaps. LOL Lets see some pics there pard.
  7. Very cool.Pretty original design, I like it. Did you line it too? I like making purses, but they are a challenge for me, partly because I use a flatbed machine (Artisan).
  8. Stiil cold and Rainy in Spokane, but "they" PROMISE sunshine and 60's this weekend. Sick of snow! Horses want green pastures.
  9. Hidemechanic, When cutting your fringe the way you describe, do you find that you still have to take out a pie shape or two as you round the bottom of the chink? I find that otherwise I end up with fringe that is wide at the bottom.
