The Consew 225 is an old model it doesn't have reverse. The Consew 225 was a good deal the machine is like new the person never used it. The Consew 206RB-5 is a very nice machine for canvas and light leather work.

Hi NickPol, I have been making waxed canvas bags for quite some time I use a CB4500 with 277 thread. I also have a Consew 225 for the lighter work and mainly binding the inside of some of the bags. I had a Singer 7-34 I called Bob over at Toledo told him I wanted one machine to do leather & canvas work on he set me up with a very good machine. The CB4500 is a great all-round machine in my mind.

I order English Bridle and Show harness from them all the time I haven't had any problems. I do order natural skirting that I use on the back side of my gun belts no problems. If you have an issue with there leather give them a call they should take care of the problem.

Finished up these fork bags today. Used Wickett & Craig Show Harness. This is some very cool leather when I sew the bags up on my CB-4500 the oil from the leather comes up through the round hole in the foot. This is great leather for motorcycle bag.

You can make a Leather Stropping Wheel. If you have extra veg tan leather in your scrap box they are easy to make and work awesome. Use Jewelers Rouge on the wheel and it works well. I sharpen all my cutting tools on it. There are YouTube videos on how to make them..

That is a very nice design. I have been making jack saps for many years that is how I got started in leather. I always loved impact weapons. I sell these at gun shows as novelty items along with my gun belts. The state police never have said anything about them other then I wish I could still use these. The state I live in they are Illegal to carry. Nice work.....
