  1. Thanks, KK
  2. Tandy sell the Al Stohlman inspired pattern book by Peter Main. It has several patterns that could be used on a cover like the one you are look for. Good luck.
  3. I use either RTC by Bee Natural (available direct or through Hide Crafters) or Clear Lac (avaliable through Springfield leather). If I am using the RTC, I will lightly wet my leather, so it will obsorb evenly and slower. Has worked for me. I still have Super Sheen, but haven't used it since I found RTC. My opinion Good luck WV I just thought of something. Did you use the liquid and apply with sheep wool or spray? I have had less success with the spray and it has formed cracks? Might be something to think about. Sorry
  4. I have see lettering fonts of different styles and I thought I would start this thread to see what responses I get. So here it is. What is your favorite font you like to use in your leather work projects? Carved or stamped. Extra point question, if you want to answer: Why is it your favorite font style? Thanks in advance to all those that decided to respond. Happy Carving!
  5. You're most welcome. By the way, be a little patience with responses on here as it is just after the holidays. You are not being ignored, but most makers are getting their inventory ready for the upcoming shows or something close to this. Good luck and don't forget to post pictures of your final project here on LW!
  6. Welcome to the forum and greetings from Central Texas USA! Nice photo gallery on your site. Thanks for sharing!
  7. I just took the measurements today for a Kindle B/W. I am making one as a gift my boss, our administrative secretary who is retiring in the coming months. She has been a fan of my leather work and she requested it, so off I go. I usually post my patterns on my Facebook site and available for down load to any of my FB friends. I will post pictures on here as I progress with this project if you would like me too? Good luck.
  8. My standard template size is 6 7/8" x 6 5/8". I hope this helps.
  9. I hope some of our Aussie friends are okay! Your leather friends in the USA are thinking about you.

  15. I made one out of xacto blades glued to the end of a sponge painters brush handle. I worked out well if you needed a fix number of blades. I would like to find one like yours but not willing to spend that much. Good luck

  23. Nice work, I especially like the director's chair.
  24. Welcome to the forum and greetings from Central Texas! As for you tool search, I happen to have an older guild member who is looking to sell a 'lot' of tools. Take a look at my 'facebook' page under the photos section where it says tools for sale. He is asking $380 or best offer with potential free shipping depending on the offer. It is good sale. All of the Crafttools are pre letter and some pre number. If you have interested, drop me a line with your offer and I can certainly put you together with him. Good luck
