  1. I use a gum eraser and it works quite well.....but caution, do not rub too hard or you will disburb the finish. You can try a bit of Goo-Gone, that should work without disturbing the finish. Good luck.
  2. Welcome to the forum and greetings from Central Texas!
  3. Very nice! Did you consider weathering or dampness when preparing it? if so, what did you do to combat this? Thanks for sharing!

  7. I have purchased from Stevenson-Paxton the last time and bought 5 sides. They gave it to me in the size I needed. I paid $99 a size, I do not know the quality label, but they were sure clean! I haven't heard much about them, but I later learned that Panhandle leather in Texas will basically do the same. I haven't check the price. I know that a couple of people on here have recommended calling the tannery directly?? I haven't. Good luck

  15. Anyone looking for a Manual Crank Starp Cutter? Look inside!

  16. Hello All We have a couple of guild members who are selling a manual crank strap cutter for sale. It is listed at $1395.00 in the 2009 Weaver catalog. Its about six months old and in great shape. They purchased it thinking that they would be getting a lot of use out of it and it just did not turn out that way! The asking price is $1,000. The members are out of Austin, Texas. Let me know if anyone is interested and we'll hook both parties up! thanks.
  17. That what I have done a couple of time with limited machinery and tools. Barry King and Leather Wranglers should be able to fill your needs. Good luck!

  19. Very nice! Unfortunately, I have a beauty sitting in my garage that I am trying to get rid of since I cannot no longer ride it without experiencing too much pain. My is a 2004 cruiser, fully loaded and it just hit 5,000 miles! Yea, I know. Enjoy yours because I certainly miss mine!
  20. For me it is hard to say why it happened, but I have experienced something like this before and something else with super sheen spray. I now, form after tooling before I dye, wax? or finish my project. I like to have it the way I need it after tooling. Now, I have to agree that Eco Flo can cause something like this to happen, but it has been way to too long since I used EcoFlo again since I wiped it off of my shelves. Sorry!
  21. @Materbona: Try this site for information.....www. droidforums.net . Good luck!
