You haven't sealed so it will still work how ever I must say if you want the color to be as is then your going to be unhappy if you have used a water base dye othe wise you should be fine get it wet let it case run it threw and let dry good luck Josh -

I have had many such times, I had a guy come to me said he had upwards of 60 hand guns of all kinds and he was stocking ammo for them he wanted me to make a Rambo army type setup holsters of every kind around his body I was not comftable with his state of mind or his reasons for having the guns and told him I was not interested even when he grabed $600 bucks and said here's a down payment. Like Holly I have a line and I don't cross it for any amount of money I am Christian as well and I think this sets my line. Josh

When I was 4 years old I built a Lego ship the box said 10 and up, when I was 10 I built a football field in a box and my Uncle wanted to sell them said it was gold it was kick football type game but I could see it in my head before I built it every piece and part coming in to play, I would dream of building a barn and I saw the beams how they fit the floor how it was done in my mind like a drafting program clear and easy to my mind , when I design furniture I see it I feel it first I fix the mistakes in my mind. When I write my music it plays in my head and I go over it and over it, and my poems and my book I am writing it's all in my mind first just how I want it I don't sleep some nights I think I should move this buckle down here and I move it in my head, The leather is the same I know just what I need to do before I build it, know I am tired but this is what I think like and my prosses Josh PS bad spelling I am on my iPhone

Some great tips so far, I am thinking your saying the colored part you want old looking, Any way here's what I do for the old leather look, I start with the airbrush spray a even light coat over the hole piece then spray a darker coat around the edges, let dry buff with a rag, then I take a rag and take a little dark brown stain and rub it off on a paper almost tell there's nothing left on it, then I rub the edges of the piece lightly let it dry the buff, last step take some black dye on a rag and do the same as the brown dye heavy on the very edges, let dry buff apply finish then I might rub on some antiuqe if needed or wanted. With paint I apply it let dry the rub some denatured alcoholl then a rub with antiuqe. Josh Bad spelling on my iPhone

Great stuff Kate thanks for posting Josh -
OK know were geting some were good work Kate, so there are tons of sealers out there it's just a matter of what is in you area you can get waxes and what not also if you have some sort of home improvment store buy a water base sealer that is used for wood those work well Also craft stores have sealers. Hope that helps Josh
