Nice idea and really good work! -
For sure. But he didn’t said nothing about it. Just ask about the leather
-
Hey buddy! This is a little bit relative. This kind of leather that you mean probably is a vegetable tanned leather with different finishings/dyes. I live in Germany. My last purchases I always did by the buyleatheronline.com. For what exactly you need for?

BTW. I know this saddle bags are like that because of the natural aging of leather. Usually I always do the opposite: make it looks like new. Hahaha

Hey guys, I was in doubt where to post(suppliers or how to do) it so then let’s do it here. A customer ask me to do some seats (bomber seats) to his hot rod. But. He ask me for a leather like on the photo. First, when he talk to me I thought he was talking about a crazy horse leather. But then when he send this photo, it’s a cracked or vintage look leather, don’t know how to call it. Hahaha so, somebody knows how I could do it? Something that I can use or if I can buy it ready a kind of leather like that. Thanks

Thanks Gary! yes, I think it’s a veg tan because of the size. I’m not sure but I never saw a huge piece of cordovan. This part of the edges is that o don’t know. I always use wax on the edges. But he use something really smooth as you can see on this another video (3:20). And don’t looks like tragacanth But anyway. He does an awesome work. My favorite is a guy called daisuke uchimura.

Hey everybody! I’m q big fan of the Japanese’s leathercraft work. Today I saw a video of a guy and as in doubt about some finishing that they use and some stuff. If somebody can help me, this is the video: my questions are: 1 - first of all. What kind of leather is that? I don’t know if he apply the color/finishings before and then cut or is this a cordovan? 2- at 2:00 on the video. What kind of machine is that and why it makes? 3- at 21:15 on the video. What kind of finishing he use to make the borders SO shine? thank you guys!

Hello guys! I'm trying to find this kind of buckle but I just found ONE place to buy, and it comes from Japan. Anyone knows some place preferencial in Europe where I can buy this and other good quality buckles? Thanks

I already bought a spool of Ritza Tiger Thread. But have a lot of options that you can choose. Some guys here in the forum tried some threads coming from China and they said is not a high high quality but for the price is nice. Edit: here you can find some talks and references
