Rounding off those bill slots is a good idea. I'll have to do that next time around. -
Wife Gets A New Wallet

I got the acrylic pattern from a company called MakeSupply in Philadelphia. The web site is: www.makesupply-leather.com. They have an array of really nice pattern of which I own several. Here is a pic of the front of the wallet. It comes in 2 different styles. -
Wife Gets A New Wallet

Thank you! -
My wife benefits from my love of leathercraft once again. Every time I get a new pattern, by her request, she gets the first one off the assembly line. She gets a lot of use out of this veg tanned long wallet I made just over a month ago. I recently started applying leather dyes with an airbrush as I did with this wallet. This has become my favorite way to apply dyes and coatings because of the good looking results.

Beautiful work! Love that color combination! Looking to make my first belt within the coming weeks. -
I have a neighbor that works at Florida Hospital. We live in the Kissimmee area. Did your daughter have to relocate because of Katrina?

Thank you for the warm welcome! Yes, I have to say I've spent countless hours chasing down a circuit or two on aircraft schematics. Years ago I acquired my General Radiotelephone License from the FCC. When I worked for Northwest Airlines it was required back then in order to do avionics work. I used to spend weeks at a time in Romulus at the Detroit airport going to school for the airline. I got started about a year ago doing leather work by walking into a Tandy leather shop and asking how I would go about making a holster. I've been hooked ever since!
