  1. As a suggestion I would look into the Lucris Ma seriesIII manual clicker, its the original version of the Weaver copy. I have one and use it daily. The Weaver copy I heard has break down issues, arm is too long and is stamped metal welded together. The Lucris is cast Iron and means business. Just my thoughts.

All our shows were down this year, even the good ones. While there is still discretionary income out there, people are just scared to spend it for fear of the unknown.

I am looking to have our Green man Logo made into a leather sign. something large 2x2 feet semi round oval layout. great attention to the green man face, our business name and contact number Something like 3 ply 10-12 oz leather, that ould stand up to the weather, tan and age nicely. I can sew it up just not a carver! I will need a price, time line for completion and example of your work. you can PM me or email directly (preferred) sales@greenmanleather.ca Here is an example of what I am looking for name, face, and a contact number. 15. HUGE demand for our Flat and Jack Saps!

  16. Wow nice work on the edges Tat2! watch your stitching though I see you went a little off track on the Pearson!
  17. If you are wanting to make a serious belt, go with 10oz as stated but choose a shoulder or butt cutt , its stronger and will have min stretch over time. I made abelt from a side and it stretched some as some areas on the cow are less strong then other parts. Just grab the leather a pull a bit you'll see either a bit of stretch or none. Leathe always wears in but when come correctly the belts will never be returned. You can use a thinner leather and dbl up, just make sure you have a decent sewer and stich guide or you are wasting leather.

  21. We are looking to have the prototype made within the next 6 monthes. Takes a lot of time to work out all the cinks then have it made for us. I think hand sewing is a great route to go when doing short passes. Our design for the leather bench tool will help quicken the pace of hand sewing and improve on the the processes involved in hand sewing. We realize this is a competitive market to enter into we feel we have something quite inovative to have created! Like my uncle once said, "There are three types of people, one who watches it happen, One who makes it happen and the otehr who says WHAT happened!" Which one are you?
  22. Excellent thoughts folks, Keep them coming! No we will not forget about the older or those with a disability! I agree there are some projects where hand stitching is the only way to go. But I also like my Adler it makes a fine stitch.
  23. I am not able to state what Green Man Leather Inc is creating as we are still in the blueprint and designing phase. What I can tell you is Hand sewing will become much easier!
