Hello everyone, I have a couple new Jack Saps recently made. We had been using steel shot to fill most of our Saps but recently began to change some of the design to steel plating. These two Saps are made with a steel plate 5mm thick. I used 6-7 oz leather and molded it over the plating, using belt strap for the handle which offers a snug fit around your hand. Oil Dye use and harness stitch with Black 277 bonded nylon thread. You wont have any issue being bullied or taken advantaged of with this Sap in your hand! I wanted to sew on my Junker Ruh SD 28 so I made this knife Sheath. The sew lines are not to straight but it was worth trying it out.

Hello Nathalie, the weight of the machine is 15 pounds and width of the bench machine is 7-8 inches wide. not including the handle of course!. I entertaining all offers as our Daughter was recently born and selling off items no longer needes. Let me know If I can help out in any way.

I'm eyeing this machine to buy, and I think its of german design as it has an adler shuttle configeration. Any thoughts would be appreciated! when I turn the hand crank the bottom pulls up needle then goes down and the top needle goes through the leather.

The 5 in 1 also was 1 one the first 1000 created as shown on the plate. The splitter in the image I have cleaned up and keeping So please do not ask! The 5 in 1 machine I wish to sell. I have never seen a 13 inch throat and its really big in size. Small amount of surface rust but it cleaned up rather nicely! Given the rarity of the machine and its size I was hoping to get at least 900 USD for it. But am open to reasonable offers. I have seen them sell for around this price but email your offer and we'll take it from there. One small thing is the machine did not come with a hand crank, rather it was broken. I called a supplier who makes the wooden handles metal bar in Texas. Cost would be 61USD plus shipping. For Sale is a dbl lined leather creaser. I am not sure of the age but know it is from the 20th century, This creaser will crease strap work from 1/4 to 1.3/4 wide strap. the lines assist to use to line for stitching or simply for decorative design. It is in fine condition! your seeing saw dust on the machine .Everything works smoothly! No need to be a wet blanket! Yes this IS a controversal product to make. There is no law stating one cannot make it, its using it which is a crime. look on the websites you"ll see many folks selling all kinds of Jack Saps. I think all have a right to use whatever means to ensure the safety of ourselves and those we love. Law or no law what you one do to protect which is most precious?? Anyhow since this listing has benn up I have had a bunch of orders!

Art I have no clue what your talking about BUT: The creaser is still available and willing to haggle.

I agree, the stitch really is for decoration. I use Weavers strap stich edge guide for the Adler 205's and the belt is down in 4 mins. The dbl guide allow you to sew effortlessly! Cheating? possibly but worth the investment when you have mulitple orders. I would think if the stitch is set too tight/ close together you would weaken the belt and allow for tearing. Just make sure you test everything out first before sewing. The stitch did allow the belt to be stiff for a while then relaxed. The the stretch is based on the selection and grade of leather. Lastly make sure you are using a large bobbin machine or else the bobbin wil run out and you'll have to double up and at times can look unprofessional. At Green Man Leather we only use dbl shoulder or double Butt leather which is known for super strength and minimal stretch.
