  1. Hi all! Just wanted to share this laptop bag I just finished. Went with an all natural veg tan and the patina is going to be amazing after some time. I used a 6/7 for the body and flap, 5/6 for the gusset and front and back panels. The inner pockets will hold a 16" MacBook and other essentials. I went with a double layer strap of 5/6 glued and stitched together. My favorite part is the unique brand on the back, I love using brands if I can. Thanks for looking!
  2. Thank you! Yeah this one worked out so good. Thanks! That was the only request for this one. The rest was up to me, I love those kind of jobs. Thank you! Thanks! Yeah they’re probably overkill but I like the way they look.
  3. Hi all, Just wrapped up this tablet sleeve (case?) sized to fit a Samsung Tab A. I think it came out pretty cool, basically a scaled version of a flap wallet and the design works great! It’s made from some black CrazyHorse hide that just happened to have an “h” brand and my customer’s last name starts when th H. Perfect! The patch is laser engraved veg tan dyed with Tandy’s Bordeaux stain.
  4. Just finished a collaboration on these handforged puukkos. My friend, Will of Stout Craftworks, made the knives, I made the sheaths. Olive and walnut handles with African Blackwood spacers and copper caps. Wet formed leather around wooden block forms and hand stitched.
  5. Thank you! Do you mean the initials on the back tab? Yes, I had a letter and number set made in that font years ago.
  6. That looks amazing! Nice paint work.
  7. Hey thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed my work!
  8. Thanks a lot! Full disclosure: I just used my iPhone 7+ and a little processing in Photoshop. Thank you! The color is a combination of leather dyes brushed on and some very fine point Sharpies. There’s three different greens in the tree. The helm is diluted black dye, the mantle has diluted green dye as well as the grass.
  9. Thank you! I had a brass stamp set made in that font. It’s called Uncial Antiqua. Thanks! I have about 15 hours in the tooling. Probably another 15 to make the bag.
  10. Thank you all! I’ve got another crest in the works now and I can’t wait for you to see it. I love doing these types of things. Sculpting the mantle is a lot of fun.
  11. Thanks! Thank you! Thanks! Thanks! Not airbrushed, I use a sponge antiquing method.
  12. Another custom Aidan satchel heading out today. All hand dyed full grain veg tan, hand tooled Callahan crest, inner pockets for a tablet and other essentials, sized to fit a 15” laptop. I’m having a hard time letting this one go.
  13. Thank you! Thanks! Yeah a liner adds a nice touch.
  14. I’ve been wanting to make a clutch style wallet for a while and finally found time to draw up a pattern. I used a 4/5 veg tan all around, Tandy dyes. I’ve got a couple of tweaks to make as far as sizing and I’ll be adding a wrist strap, but I think it’s a winner.

  16. Thank you! Yes, the rivet is captured within the welt. I made the welt about 3/8” wide. If you put one in be sure to skive it down where it meets the point. Otherwise it’s too thick on that end. Thanks! Thank you!
  17. Here’s my second ever knife sheath. The first one I made a few years ago. I think it came out pretty sweet. 5/6 veg tan dyed with Tandy’s brown waterstain and antiqued in my signature style. Fully welted along the blade side. The concho was a last minute add, otherwise I would have made the tab a smidge bigger for it. Anyway, came out cool!
  18. Just finished this wallet up today. I think the houndstooth liner is fitting for the art. Cheers!
  19. I like it a lot! You should be proud of that piece. Curious as to what you don’t like about it?
