  1. Fantastic! I love the colors and the knotwork is beautiful. That's going to look even better in a few years with some use and patina.
  2. Thanks! Thanks! Yes, stamped it before dyeing. I love that scroll stamp and I think it works well with this style. Thanks! The stitching is really a champagne/natural in person. Looks white in photos. But yeah, I love the contrast. Thank you! Thanks! I made a big stamp of the sugar skull. This way I can repeat this over and over yet make each unique with a different color pallet. I have a laser engraver in my shop and make Delrin embossing plates.
  3. Thanks ya'll! I'm going to do this pattern again but switch up the colors. I think a black wallet with all red roses would look killer too. Or even a monochromatic version with just a light brown dye and antique.
  4. Thanks y’all! I picked up a couple yards of this fabric. I’ve got more wallets to make. ;-)
  5. Finished this for a customer last night. The only request was to have green somewhere. I love when I get set loose on a project. The bag: black CrazyHorse cow hide Straps: Wickett & Craig Bridle Hand painted and dyed veg tan flap lined with the same CrazyHorse underneath.
  6. That is sweet! I love how the scales look like feathers and go with the theme.
  7. Very nice! I love the leather combination. The brown against the crazyhorse is perfect. Nice job!
  8. I finished this one up a couple of weeks ago. Came out really nice, I think! I haven’t gotten to do much tooling lately so this was a great one to dust off my tools. Also found some great liner material.
  9. Thank you! Yes, it says Grinning Beggars. This is his logo and supplied art so I used what I was given. It might be more legible in person really. Yeah, the laser engraver has been a great tool in my shop! Thanks!
  10. I’ve been making a bunch of these totes lately. They’re a lot of fun to build, especially turning them right side out. The Raven was dyed red and block dyed black. I was initially wanting everything but the bird black. Due to some low spots in the leather it came out blotchy. Call it a happy accident! The thistle was hand painted. Veg tan flaps, bridle leather straps, pebble grain black leathers from Tandy for the body.
  11. Thanks! Overall this is a pretty simple pattern. Mainly a rectangle folded in half and add a strap. Just start with credit card and bills dimensions and size around that. T-pockets are great! This one takes a bit of patience to do as there are four of them to line up nicely.
  12. That’s really pretty! I love the simple, clean design.
  13. Thank you! Thank you! That color is so great to work with. I only wish they sold it in the big bottles.
  14. I call this wallet a Galway Trucker. Made it for a friend of mine who hosts a podcast radio show. Dyed with Tandy’s waterstain in Bordeaux (my favorite color to use, it’s so rich!). The liner is a piece of Blackwatch tartan wool. All artwork is laser engraved. I think it came out sweet! 4/5 ounce veg tan all around. A bit beefy, but I’d like it to last a lifetime.
  15. Thanks all! The laser is a Glowforge Pro. I came in on the pre-order they did a few years ago. I love it!
  16. Is the rotary punch still available? What brand is it?
  17. Hey Ya'll! I just finished up this wallet for a bagpiper in Texas. I laser engraved his Clan MacLaren crest into the face. Hand dyed veg tan in 4/5 ounce.

Wow that is cool! I've been wanting to decorate my workhorse rawhide mallet and this is inspiring.
  20. Thanks! I don't remember what it was called off hand. I'll see if I can find it...
  21. I use a Cobra Class 4 from Leather Machine Co. I love it! I use it for light 4/5 all the way up to 10/12 no problem. Can't go wrong with one of these.
