Thanks a ton! Sorry for the late reply, I didn't know I had comments until now. Cheers, Andy
  2. Thanks!
  3. Hey there! thanks for the compliment on my bag in my gallery. I was just browsing and noticed some comments on my work there. I wonder if there is a setting for notifying me when comments are made?

  8. Those look cool... I just don't know what a bouncer is. So... what are they used for? -Andy
  9. Hell yeah man! Love the Koi. Nice details in the tooling but I especially like the tooling on the snap keepers. That's one spot that gets overlooked and I'm glad to see you put some detail into it. Cheers, Andy
  10. I second the mention for istockphoto.com. Nice files for downloading at a good price. -Andy
  11. That's sweet! I've seen sidecar racing before and let me just say those people are insane! Those chicks have bigger than most men do. Nice work. Cheers, Andy
  12. Can't wait to see it! I made one for myself just as you are going to and each one I make after it is better than the first. I want to put a divider in these as well but without splitting the gusset in two how are you planning on adding it? I could sandwich it into the front panel/side gusset but I think it would get fairly thick on the edge. I also didn't really want to run a stitch down the side gusset just for clean-looks sake. Thanks for looking everybody and all the kind words! Keeps me motivated to do more. -Andy
  13. Thanks! No it's not lined. I just dyed the interior black. No dividers, but I do have a hanging pocket on the inside. Thanks too! I will have to take some photos tomorrow of the inside pocket and post them up. I waited too long today and the sun was going down. Silly me forgot the tripod! Here's a pic of the back. Oh and I guess I should add that it's 5/6 oz double shoulder cow hide.
  14. Hey Gang, Finished up another messenger/laptop bag. I wanted to try this one out in Eco-Flo Java Brown. I think it came out pretty sweet, I really like this brown! Same dimensions as usual, 15" x 11" x 4.5" Cheers, Andy P.S. Sorry about the photos, I guess I was in a rush with the light so they're kind of fuzzy.
  15. Nice job! I know you can pick up some shoe sole blanks but for the life of me I can't remember where I saw them. Some sort of shoe maker supplier would have them. Perhaps someone else can chime in and fill in the blanks. Good looking sandals too. How do they fit? Comfy? -Andy
  16. One of the greatest rock-n-roll singers of all time passed away 9 years ago today.....rest in peace Joey Ramone. The Ramones always seemed to have a song that just fit into certain times of my life. If I released a soundtrack of my life and times, The Ramones would definitely be on it. Gabba, gabba, hey. -Andy
  17. That is fantastic! Thanks for the post on this. I've been wondering how to go about getting a nice used look on some hardware. Do you think the same process would work on shiny nickle plated stuff? I am going to have to experiment. Cheers, Andy
  18. I understand what a frog IS, but why is the word frog used? Is it because a Y or fork shaped item somehow resembles a frog? I mean, an actual ribbit-ribbit frog has a fat, wide body with two skinny legs coming off of it that could resemble what is described.
  19. That's a little nutty! I think I like it aside from it being a bit grotesque. I never did quite understand the allure of a stuffed animal.
  20. So I've always wondered why a sword/dagger/knife frog is called a frog. Anybody care to shed some light on this for me. Just one of those oddball questions I have on occasion. :-) -Andy
  21. Thanks a ton! Man, I wish I had a buck for every view this thread on my bag has gotten! All you guys are the best! I guess I'm doing something right. :-) -Andy
  22. "There are a thousand things you can plug into a MAC, there are a million things you can plug into a PC." That's true but a good percentage of those million things is crap. I only here the headaches people have because software "A" is not compatible with software "B". But yeah, the PC price is nice but I do love my Macs. Never had one problem. I've been on a Mac for 15 years. I may be biased too as I'm a graphic designer... but like you said, Adobe has leveled that field. -Andy
  23. It looks horrible in the photo. Could you please send it to me so I can make a better assessment? Seriously though, beautiful work. Cheers, Andy
  24. Hey Thanks! I have a fan! Gotcha on the stitching.
