  1. Samalan, I do agree. It looked just fine before. My brain said you can make it nicer. No reason for black, lesson learned. Thanks
  2. I can hardly believe how lucky I've been, to be doing this kind of work as a hobby. This pistol was brought to me be a Big Man. Shots 454 Casul 410's as well as .45LC. Just happened it was finished right after the twins.
  3. Bert03241 it does seem to be Cap and Ball or Black Powder and Ball. Either way I was wrong...haha. Like this is a first

  16. Do appreciate both your comments. Yin your very funny, I probably did carvings under 2 hours. Then went back, back and back ect. Dikman I did buy pattern from Weaver, there is 11 patterns different sizes but same design. Now I can make my own pattern, very fun to do. Highly recommend

  18. This is my take on the Hand of God that was used in the movie. I did not use same tools and took advantage of my artistic license. Just wanted to share my 2nd attempt.
  19. Thanks do appreciate your comment
  20. Yin don't get me wrong, big fan of your work. I can't figure what you want to do that many before you have done. I basically have learned my skills from videos. This is a lot of work, by why. I will probably regret I opened this can of worms.
  21. I have a question, will you be doing beginner or advanced videos. This was much better but not much to it. I realize it is very difficult to do. I like your style for trying.
  22. Thanks JW this really a fun build. The patterns make it easy. I like carving, it's very enjoyable. There is not to much lacing.
  23. Hey Chuck, I draw and begin tooling flat. I did not loose any carving by the folding As aways good to here from you.
