  3. Thanks JW This helps out a lot I have been looking to make some like these soon. I'm still looking to try and make full shot guns that are laced all the way down but I think I'll have to just set to it and give it a try. That is how I have done most everything I make. Like those leggin very much You do really nice work. Mark
  4. I have been asked to work up a pattern for a pair of slobber straps that would have buckles to help in changing bits with less work when using a Mecate style reins. This is what I have come up with. These can be tooled as well as plain, I have seen some that it would have been hard to do any tooling on. Please let me know what you think and if there is anything that might need to be changed to improve them. Mark
  5. I have to say that I like to put the neatsfoot oil on while cased. I believe that it traps in some moisture to help keep the leather from drying out to much. Leathers need oil and a little moisture to stay soft and supple. Mark

  12. Thank you all. I like that border a lot. That was a Berry King stamp, it's the smallest he had in stock at the time and it was just right for these. Mark
  13. Denise I have been thinking about this for the last few years but was not sure how to get it out to the right people and if there was a need for it. Then I found LW and I seen a need. Then I found a friend that had a camera that was willing to film. I had three pair to make so we just started filming and put some together and it looked good so here we are. I now plan to make more DVDS on how to make the other kinds and other small tack items as well. I plan to sell the pattern too. Mark
