Here is the latest pair of slobber leathers that I just finished. They are made out of HO strap 9-10oz lined with 3-4oz strap. They are 8" long folded and are 2 5/8" wide at the widest part. I light oiled them and then put a coat of Bee Natural Leathercare Leather Finish for a finial sealer. Thanks for looking. Mark

Steve I like the whole thing. The square skirts have a nice look to them and although most of us like round skirts, you made these look great as always. I still like the way you worked the rigging into the skirts, they look strong. I also like that flower pattern. Great job as usual Can't wait to see the next one. For a high end liner that is pre-made I would go with a Chaylor-Fenneli liner. You can order them from Hitching Post Supply at 1-800-689-9971 or their web site is www.hitchingpostsupply.com I think. Here is a photo of a liner that I used on a check book cover. I hope this helps. Mark

Tim Looks really nice. I like the flow of lines. I can't say much more than that because I'm only working on # 2 myself. I think the horn looks really nice I really like the lip all the way around the horn. I give you a ten.Great Job. Mark

Here is a checkbook cover that I carved. I did not draw the pattern myself. It is a craft aid pattern. I think it turned out well It has a Chaylor-Fenneli liner in it. Mark

Tim It does have a yellow tint to it. Here is a picture of another pair made with the same leather.I think it has to do with poor pictures. Mark

Here is a pair of chinks that I did for a ranchers daughter that lives north of Lusk WY. They have a wave pattern using a cam tool and have buckle leg closures. Mark

Here is another pair that I have made. I ordered some white leather thinking it would be off white not snow white (oops). Well what do you do with white leather you add some other color to break up the white, so this is what I came up with. they really turn out well I think. they have zippers laced in and a back buckle with a tie string in the front. They also have a pocket on the left leg. sorry I do not have more pictures of them I made them before I knew about this place. I will take more pictures in the future. Thanks for looking Mark

Bob WOW That's realllly nice more like great! I look at your work and it makes me strive harder and harder to make my work look better. I like the way you put your flowers in and the vine work around them. The way you do the bindings and the edges every thing about it looks great. Steve They have zippers laced in as the are made to fit snugly to the leg. The hardest thing to learn in making chaps and chinks is how to use measurements to make them fit well. I think that I have finally got a plan and know what measurements I need and how to move the pattern around to make it work. Here is a pair of shotguns that I built for Bobbie Gordon a few years ago. They were my third pair I had ever made and my 2nd try at carving. Steve It cuts really really nice. Right out of the box cut 14oz leather one pass love it. It's a type of stainless not sure of the grade. The maker Steve Powers is from Colorado springs CO. I will get his number on here some time in the near future. Mark
