This is one of my 1st belt press/punch that I made for leather belt straps. This is the Hole-Punch for the machine above!

As a Leather Artisan I have struggled with Edge-painting leather belt straps, so I engineered my own edge painting tools which work great and currently solved all my problems. Does anyone else have an alternative suggestions? I always love to hear and to learn from others and new techniques.

Lined and stitched by hand, using Campbell's Satin Laid Linen, beige thread. Wickett and Craig leather, dyed to match the wallet by request, which was made from Horween leather. Not an easy color to match! Plenty of errors.. got in a bit of a rush to complete... but I was able to get the bulk down where the belt retainer is... Enjoy... YinTx

Finally finished another belt. Not my finest stitching: managed to pick up the wrong stitching chisel when I started, resulting in some crowded stitching. But, I think it still came out ok in the end. Used black mission pig liner, 5 oz veg tan, Ecru 532 Campbell's Satin Laid Linen thread. YinTx© YinTx

Showing the back of the hand stitched leather belt. This is a fairly narrow 3/4" belt, so any deviation from perfect seems amplified. Trying to get good enough where I can feel confident enough to do a watch strap. Fil Au Chinois lin cable thread. Wickett and Craig leather. YinTx© YinTx

A bit rusty with my stitching, and having to use the clamshells without the rest of the stitching horse, so weird angles when I'm stitching, but happy to say it'll be a useable belt at the end of the day! Still need to trim the thread ends and tap the stitches down, then punch the holes, and ship off as a gift, in plenty of time for Christmas, heck even Thanksgiving! YinTx© YinTx

I am starting a leather belt company in London I need help making a quality leather belt with a similar design to the attached image (the buckle is a Sam-Browne buckle). I am located in London and would like to work with a manufacturer in the UK or Europe but not much farther. I would like this to start as soon a spossible and would appreciate if we could meet in person, hence closeness being a beneficial factor. And tips, links and/or advice would be much appreciated!!! I made this belt for my daughters Christmas gift last year. I got the belt buckle on eBay.

So I had a request to make a belt with "DIE LIVING" with a maple leaf background. She wanted the belt brown with orange leafs and pink flowers. This is what it looked like when I gave it to the customer yesterday.

The tooling on a weight belt for my brother made from 13oz saddle skirtting -
I made a weight lifting belt for my brother and he has lost weight and would like a couple more holes punched in to the belt. He is looking for some one over in the Evertt, Mt Vernon, Oak Harbor area of Washington state to Punch Maybe Four or six holes.
