That is some nice detail.  What thickness leather did you use?  How did it affect the grip thickness in one's hand?

thank you! the leather was about as thick as a dime or maybe a little more. The customer loved it and said he liked the leather wrap better than no wrap.

That is the first time that I have ever seen leather wrapped pistol grips. I've been a firearms aficionado (gun nut) for over 50 years and that is incredibly unique. Great job all around.

amazing detail for such thin leather. those are awesome.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

Thats awesome to hear I wasnt sure if it had been done before as I couldnt find any pics of one done like that. I like doing unique things with leather.

Excellent job.  Reminds me of the hogue sleeve on my G23 only way cooler. :notworthy:

I made a plain one several years ago for a Bersa Thunder  . . .   as my hands are long and skinny . . .  sure helped on the grip.

How did you attach your edges together?

I laced mine with really thin thong material.  And as you can see . . . it was destined to be functional and not necessarily a beautification process . . . lol.

May God bless,

Dwight

If you can breathe, . . . thank God.

If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.

If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran.

VERY NICE WORK!!

I am wondering.

How are the pistol grips attached?

I don’t see screws or lacing anything.
