Those are works of art!  What is your process for coloring/finishing the skins?  I am interested in your thoughts about using rivets in a sheath.  Are they copper or brass?  I apologize if you've already had that discussion on this forum - I can use the search function.  Thanks for posting.

I used my flow pen and a cheap water color brush with fiebings pro dyes and let the colors drip where they may on the frog sheath. It’s an airbrush without air. I didn’t feel like going thru a bunch of changes just to dye one sheath. Took the lazy way out. Dyed, Resist, antique, seal with the acrylic sheen of your choice. As far as rivets on a sheath, I can’t stand em. A couple maybe, but hardly. Only if it’s structural, or safety. Only reason I used them there, that’s a really funky shaped blade, sharp in a triangle shaped way so there’s a lot of welt running around the inside. I wanted to keep it tight so the blade only goes in one spot and not making new entrance and exits.

Might fine looking sheaths.  Well done.  Still haven't tried the air brush method of dyeing yet.  It's on the list.

Your lacing skills are a true wonder to behold . After a couple of not great looking results,  I stick to sewing and edge burnishing.

Both, these two sheaths are True Artistry,

The Kermit colors are very interesting.

and, The peanut looks great with the red stitching.

My first guess, the lacing is Mexican Round braid ? Second guess, Double or Triple loop ? 

No matter , they are lookers for sure ! I really like em both !   Great Works !
