A friend asked me to sharpen his knife. Once I got it home I noticed the point was really dull. More so than the rest of the blade. After looking at it for a little bit I put it in the original sheath. Heard a little click. Thought that was very odd. Then looking into the sheath I realized the rivet was not even in the welt and was rubbing the blade. So I made him a new one. You might be able to see the shiny spot inside the original sheath.

I have a knife that needs sharpening, and would like to be your friend lol. Very nice gesture , and nice sheath!

Yea I'd never put rivets along the blade side of a knife sheath, really would use rivets at all:no:

Nice job !!  Maybe put your makers mark on the back ..... just a thought .
