I just picked up a couple of rabbit pelts for cheap (my local Scout camp's trading post had them for whatever reason, and was doing a blow-out sale.)

How do you suggest I use them (and/or how do people typically use them)? I generally do figure carving, so I've never used furs before.

For reference, I've attached a picture of the pelts.

For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Lined winter hat. Or possibly gloves/mittens. Scarf. Ear muffs.

I grabbed one of the pics so if the link disappears, this will still have a picture.

Gloves are pretty complex to make, but I've got a pair of commercially made rabbit lined gloves that I LOVE in winter!

One thing to be aware of - rabbit fur sheds - a lot! It is not very durable, so using it as a liner may be your best bet.

I have a number of skins I've picked up over the years. I sometimes put some out on my table at craft fairs and put small leather items on them. Seems a nice way to display the items

America, North: History of Indigenous Peoples' Dress | Encyclopedia.com    Is there something accurate you could make for the ceremonial teams for your lodge?

Good idea! Unfortunately, my lodge has been distancing itself from Native American regalia for most ceremonies, as the tribes which used to live in our area were "resettled" far enough away that we can't easily set up a good dialogue with them.
