Hi Leatherworkers,

Here is a wallet to match the tote bag I made recently. Its made with the same two leathers but stitched up with .3 Maine Polycord.

Let me know what you guys/gals think!

Joe

That is a nice wallet. I really like the design. I might have to try one of those soon.

Looks like you and Monica are both on a "matching bag and wallet" quest, and both doing very well with it! If you were selling them, they would make for a great bundled package!

It would be interesting to see how some trim made from the tan would look outside. Perhaps something like your brocade wallet ... Or a small zippered change pocket on the outside to reverse mirror what's on the bag. Just some thoughts! Good work.

Thanks Bill! Those are all great ideas. Unfortunately I used up pretty much the rest of the side of vintage.

I like the design and the execution. The stiching is very nice and the stitch lenght and thread size are a perfect.

Wonderful

I too would be interested in a PDF of the design

I'd be interested in the pdf as well - I really like the shape of the scoop on the card pockets.

Sure thing Monica.

Because so many have shown some interest I'll post up the pdf in the thread once I finish it.

One of these days, I'm going to try some Horween. I like being able to dye my leather, because I don't always know what color I want a project till I start it.

You should definitely try some. Both the essex and the chromexcel are awesome to work with.

Joe, --------

I really like your (matching set)

Stitching is straight and even and thread size seems visually correct to hole size.

Also I'm a fan of the inside, horween looks great, and I'm warming up to chromxcel.

All contributing factors are about flawless, as usual, Good work ! ---------- Wild Bill46

Joe,

What weight leather are you using for your bags?

Thanks,

Joe, I keep going back to your interior, and am very pleased to see it over and over again.

I don't doubt you, This must have been a really fun project. your progression is on a parralell with Monica's in that it

seems to be vaulting by leaps and bounds. Again, really nice application Joe.

by the way ;

I don't want to leave you out in wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas, and a great New Year too !

And to all other leather artists I may not have gotten to. -------------------- Wild Bill46
