I finally had enough of my feet hurting because of my boots. This is my first pair of boots and am looking forward to making many more. I learned a lot on these and made a lot of mistakes. I can't stitch the welt to the mid sole so I had the local shoe repair guy stitch them up for me. These were really practice for the ones I am building now. They will have Alligator embossed cowhide with tooled uppers. These boots are out of a Kangaroo hide from making a bunch of wallets.

Not only do they look great, they don't look a smidge as if you'd have made them yourself. Very impressive. With the right sole they'd be the perfect rancher work boot.

I agree with all the comments here, question is, are they as comfortable as you had hoped when you started? I bet they are.

Good god man, how many hours do you have in those boots. I am truly impressed. I have enough trouble putting a holster or sheath together, I can't even begin to imagine the planning that goes into making a pair of boots. Nice work.
