Members DJole Posted October 7, 2018 Members Report Posted October 7, 2018 That is very well done. It's so smooth, and balanced, with nice color harmony. Marvellous stitching, too! I can't figure out how the little pouch is stitched onto the liner-- can you explain the pattern? Quote \D. Jole \ --> <http://djole.altervista.org/djole/Publications/Leather/Lindex.htm>

Marvellous stitching, too! I can't figure out how the little pouch is stitched onto the liner-- can you explain the pattern? Let's see if I can explain... The flap is separate, stitched to the main interior piece The body of the pouch is stitched to the main on the outside only, the side with the flap is not stitched as you can see. The gussets are stitched on either side of the cut, in the interior of the pocket. Due to the size the flap is cut it does not permit the coins to fall out. I'm not sure I clearly explained, it's a bit difficult. It's only my 2nd time doing it this way. Next time I do one, I will try to take step by step pictures. It took me a while to figure this one out, I found no instructions. Quote
Members Vaelloc Posted October 7, 2018 Members Report Posted October 7, 2018 It's not even mine and I'm proud of it. Beautiful work Quote

Members Sheilajeanne Posted October 7, 2018 Members Report Posted October 7, 2018 Lovely work! I'd be proud, too! So, I think you're saying the bottom of the flap is stitched to the edge of the wallet, so there's just the one line of stitching for the flap and the inner and outer pieces of the wallet? Quote
