Expand Ed the "BearMan," thank you for gracing us with your presence and works again. I always enjoy studying your tooling to see where I can improve mine. It will take many many years of practice to get anywhere near your level. Just phenomenal. Members dougfergy Posted August 5, 2019 Members Report Posted August 5, 2019 Wow! What pieces of art! Love them all but especially the two flowers with the surrounding patches of basket weave and the bear paws in the upper corners. How you made the basket weave stretch and skew is masterful! The craftsmanship, colors and detail of each of them is pure class. If leather were a guitar, you'd be Chet Atkins. Quote
BearMan Posted August 5, 2019 Author Report Posted August 5, 2019 My Goodness...Thank You soooo much!! I just try to replicate nature as close as I can. I feel that we just cant improve on nature! Rockoboy Posted August 6, 2019 Report Posted August 6, 2019 WOW!! Just WOW! All of your work is amazing, but I especially like the sunflowers. The placement of your makers mark, and the bug on the flower petal is a tiny bit of whimsy. So interesting and well made. BearMan Posted August 6, 2019 Author Report Posted August 6, 2019 Thank You, yes I do put a lot of thought into the designs while still trying to retain the randomness in Nature. I believe over the years we've gotten futher & further away from what Nature actually looks like!
