Finished this for a customer last night. The only request was to have green somewhere. I love when I get set loose on a project.

The bag: black CrazyHorse cow hide

Straps: Wickett & Craig Bridle

Hand painted and dyed veg tan flap lined with the same CrazyHorse underneath.

Good job. Love the fastener. Did you stamp the border after painting? Belay that. Just had a closer look and I can see you didn't. Well done.

love the look.  classic black bag  with the white stiches looks great and then the sugar skull flap sets the bag off.   Nicely done.

Love it. and love the colors :)

Curious as to how you got those teeth so perfect and how do you tool those thick black lines they all look flawless... I'm still drawing stick men but would love to improve!

Thanks! Yes, stamped it before dyeing. I love that scroll stamp and I think it works well with this style.

Thanks! The stitching is really a champagne/natural in person. Looks white in photos. But yeah, I love the contrast.

Thanks! I made a big stamp of the sugar skull. This way I can repeat this over and over yet make each unique with a different color pallet. I have a laser engraver in my shop and make Delrin embossing plates.

What type of engraver do you have? Are you happy with it? Have you had any regrets buying it?

Very nice indeed!  Just when I thought I'd seen every closure method I see something like this, very interesting.
