Members Blacksmith Posted March 8, 2020 Members Report Posted March 8, 2020 Very fine work indeed, be proud. Gorgeous knife too, by the way. That is Damascus steel, formed by layering two or more types of steel and forge welding them together to form a billet which can then be forged into a blade. I am a noob here, leatherworking is something which interests me though. Have been blacksmithing for years and wish to get into making my own knife sheaths. If you are in Tucson and are interested in banging on some metal check out the ABANA group there, azblacksmiths dot org. Cheers, Dan. Quote
Members Sofaspud Posted March 19, 2020 Members Report Posted March 19, 2020 Looks great, like all of your stuff. Very impressive. I've been doing leather work for a long time, maybe some day I will do something that nice. Very impressive swivel knife skills. Quote

Members AdamZ Posted March 31, 2020 Members Report Posted March 31, 2020 Beautiful - the sheath not only looks great on it's own but really compliments that knife nicely. Would be nice if the red in the pin on the knife was a similar blue to that on the sheath though perhaps. Quote
