Bic Lighter Case Pattern Needed Hello All, I know, it seems so simple. Yet, I would rather get a PDF or otherwise pattern for making a Bic lighter case. My fabrication skills are just not that good yet. Have been away from the hobby since the late 80's and just finishing up a basic set of tools. Gonna work my way back to some more detailed tooling in a few years:) Thanks, Doyle

I'm having a hard time figuring out what kind of material to use for making reusable templates. Cardboard, matboard, etc. are just too flimsy and when I'm trying to cut my leather/fabric with a rotary cutter they are too easy to cut. I've tried 1/4" masonite which I cut using a scroll saw and that's much better than cardboard, but it's harder to cut and fairly expensive. The plastic place mats from the dollar store do seem to work better than cardboard but they're not large enough for some of my patterns and I also wish the place mats would be a bit thicker. Ideally it would be some kind of clear plastic, at least 1/8" thick that would let me see the fabric …

For those that make up cell phone cases to have a stock of them for shows, what phone dimensions do you use to make them? I have the Tandy pattern that I have reproduced, but am thinking of making up some molded cases as well. I know phone sizes are all over the map, but are there some typical ones I could use that would cover the more popular phones? I still carry a dumb phone, so am not able to use it for measurements. Would anyone be willing to share the measurements on their phones? I know the iPhone, some of the blackberries, and the droids would be good places to start. My phone is an Envy 2. 4 1/16 inches x 2 1/16 inches x 5/8 of an inch.

Okay you seasoned leather workers I need some help! I am a newer worker and just have been tracing patterns, but I am ready to start drawing my own but let me tell you, I am having a heck of a time! I need some tips and tricks to help me. I understand the general idea, but I have such a hard time making everything flow together. I would love a computer program, but would love to see books or illustrations and hear what everyone has to say! Thanks! Hannah

I need a ranger belt pattern. I ordered a kit from Tandy but it is useless. I have taken apart my belts but could not get a good template from it. Looking for suggestions.

Hi All, Does anyone happen to have a copy of a pdf version of the now discontinued Tandy miniature roper saddle kit? I've been after this pattern for ages, but still Leathercraft Library havent added it. This forum is my last hope. If anyone could forward me a copy to: claire.welsman@virginmedia.com, I would really appreciate it :)

Attached is a picture of a leather ball I have been working on. I looked for a long time to find a pattern and finally decided to cut apart a ball, tweak it a little, clean it up and go from there. Aaron ball .pdf
